Thanks so much! It is a South African made violin that I am playing. The strings I use are Dominant by Thomastik.

ur soooo amazing. my violin teacher tells me I have to work on my rhythm in this song. Any advice violinists?

Thank-you Vanya! Just some tips I can think of: The Flower of the Quern has a lyrical character so both the long and short notes need to have a flow to them. Bar 9-16 is where the rhythm gets a bit more complicated. The dotted rhythms need to be precise. This is best practised with a metronome. Start slowly at a pace that you can play the rhythms correctly and slowly increase the metronome up by one or two notches as you gain confidence. It is important not to 'practise-in' mistakes, so make sure you practice slowly but correctly .

Hi Twoset, thanks for checking. In the ABRSM book I have this song is option B:3 for Grade 2. I am not sure if the pieces have been published in another way, but from my side it is published in the Grade 2 book. Hope that helps.....
