I'm so very sorry you lost your home. We have evacuated 2 wildfires in Northern California. I don't know that much about them but they're still privileged and there are so many from the wildfires who don't have ANYTHING. It’s interesting with jax. He was always that controlling abuser. It’s all been played out on reality tv and exposed to the public where normally these types of men hide their behaviour behind closed doors. Even though it’s all made public for years and he can see it himself, he still doesn’t change. I think as he has gotten older he has gotten worse. Jax was losing it at the end of vanderpump and now on the valley you can see that massive downward slide. Sorry, but paying your homeowners insurance is part of owning a home. If you can’t afford the insurance, you can’t afford that home. It’s the same with sister wives not insuring their children, they couldn’t afford their children if they can’t pay the insurance premiums. In both cases, I think these people could make these payments but CHOSE not to pay their insurance premiums. Hard to be sympathetic to them, when I live within my means and pay my insurance premiums. Ps. Who are Spencer and Heidi, never heard of them before they started asking for money!

Spencer and Heidi have always been their own worst enemies. I had a bad vibe from them from the beginning of this fire tragedy. I get that their fire insurance was not renewed, but WHY did they not get California Fair Plan insurance?? It is specifically for situations like this in CA when you have no other insurance option you can go on the CA Fair plan for coverage. If my elderly mother can manage to get it, so can Heidi and Spencer. It sounds like he let the house lapse without insurance and that is on him. Spencer and Heidi have so many resources compared to the average person that lost their home and they act like this? They could get a reality show and buy a new house from it. Everyone else is facing the possibility of living in tents like in North Carolina. They are shameful as they always were and sorry, Heidi’s song SUCKS.

i feel more sorry for Spencer's parents, they lost Spencer's childhood home and at their age it is way more devastating! Spencer said his mom is doing horribly, he should be focusing more on his parents and keep his mouth shut, stop being so entitled! Love you but your take on insurance is a little uninformed. The premium paid meant they were insured for that period of time up until the carrier dropped them. No more insurance, no more premium. You don’t get your health insurance premiums back just because you didn’t get sick.

If an insurance company drops you as your risk increases whether due to health changes or environmental risk changes, they most certainly should give you your money back. There’s no point in having insurance if they take your money, but then decide to cut ties when they actually may have to cover something. Our insurance system is clearly not working for the people, but it sure is lucrative for the insurance companies and their executives.
