I meant to add, please don't comment any diseases, disorders, etc. that you think align with some of the symptoms I listed. As a 27 year old I was working in marketing, during the pandemic I volunteered in complex palliative care then at 28 I quit marketing and applied to study mental health nursing. At 31 I have just finished my second year at university. Coming from a previous degree in fashion communication I was terrified. It's such hard work, but my heart is totally fulfilled. That to say jump in, either way you'll learn from the experience and it's so much better than the what if's ❤

I am 30 and I might go back to nurse school. I left the 1st year to pursue my "dreamy relationship" . Poor me. 10yrs later, lesson learned, and now I need a real stable job. Here in Italy it's all ddifferent but now I don't have nothin to lose. You go girl. Regrets are heavy. Heavier than any effort or sacrifice to improve the stability of the future. Not just economically speaking

Especially if yuo are so unsure about what to do when you finished highschool. Both my parents went to Universtiy at the age of 55 and a few people in there classes were much older. You never stop learning in life. I would love to study but I can't afford it and I can't afford not to work full time but I hope one day I can

I feel you on wanting to feel good! I used to feel like someone was actually chocking me 24/7, constant pressure on my neck and TIRED ALL DAY. I thought that’s how people lived and that they were just more motivated than me. Eventually I realized that was no way to live and did everything in my power to bring my anxiety/stress levels down and prioritize sleep. I put together a routine where I would make all my lights red at 21:00 hs ( to let my body know it’s approaching bed time) at 22:00 no more screens, just reading and at 23:00 a 30 min guided meditation. I would doze off before 12:00 wish is UNHEARD OF for me (a person who suffered from anxiety, depression and needed sleep pills for a long time). I wake up 8:30 am and have my coffee in the balcony exposing myself to sunlight for 15 minutes. During those 15 minutes I do a couple of minutes of breath work (simple with the Apple Watch) and plan my day. After 4 days with this routine I felt better, after 2 weeks I felt great for the first time in years. I never felt like I was being choked again. This routine I now prioritize over everything in my life cause I know that it makes me feel alive, happy and motivated to actually LIVE. It is not easy and even when you know it’s working you want to sabotage yourself and just keep scrolling 15 minutes more on Instagram or skip the meditation cause you don’t feel like it that day. Keep going. I would recommend it to everyone. While you sleep your body repairs, neglecting sleep is never good and sleeping stressed is not sleeping. I’m no doctor but I don’t think this could harm anyone, maybe give it a go? I’m not saying it will cure your problems but it might make you feel better and lower your stress levels. Another thing I recommend is not eating at least for 4 before sleeping. Prioritize sleeping all in one go so reduce liquids before bed. Hoping this helps someone :) sometimes the simplest approach has the most meaningful impact, sleep is EVERYTHING. Hope you feel better soon 😘❤️

My acupuncturist is like family. She’s this tiny fireball from Bolivia who started in LA back in the 90’s & worked w celebrities, but when she had her son she moved to my small Oregon town & opened her Holistic Health Clinic in a cute little house. She’s a genuine miracle worker. Such an honorable calling.

The BIGGEST piece of advice I have ever gotten in life is when it comes to jumping into a new version of yourself/of your life just sit with your intuition. If you are excited/scared then do it! But if you’re anxious/scared then that’s a sign it’s not for you. Your intuition will never make you feel anxious if something is meant for you I hope that made sense

honestly kristen, i fucking loved this video. I love how passionate you are about going back to school! I've actually been wanting to do the same thing! I'm 22 and deciding to go back to school has also made me really nervous and anxious. However, I'm also super stoked to start school soon because I finally found my passion; Interior Architecture & Design! It'll definitely be a joy to see your journey through school and to see what you learn! Also, it really is inspiring to learn more about gut health specialists and going through the process of everything! When I was 17, I was diagnosed with some pretty severe gut issues and they've definitely been getting better over time. However, I would love to go see a gut health specialist to really learn all about what's going on in there! You are inspiring me and similarly to your schooling, this journey will be really cool to watch! Much love and happy healing ♥

Before you know it you will be done & you’ll be so proud of yourself. You are so well spoken on all things mind and body & I can tell it’s because you’re passionate about it! As a nurse I can promise you that all types of patients want a provider who is passionate about what they do and how they care for their patients & I think you would really excel in the acupuncture field because you’re so passionate about it! I also resonate with the schooling part. I went back to school a couple years after high school to become a licensed massage therapist. I’m licensed by the state medical board of Ohio and its a crazy feeling. It got my foot in the door with the medical field which is how I ended up at the endoscopy center that I mentioned in my previous comment. Now I do massage on the side and it’s just extra income, second to my full time job at the endo center. A lovely balance to be involved in two different sides of the medical field ❤️ it’s so worth it to go into, even just to learn and experience things. I don’t think you’ll regret it!

I totally understand where you’re at with your health! That’s where I was at the end of last year with my neck. I had so much neck pain that I was like almost blacking out during yoga and finally went to the doctor. Did nerve tests, MRIs, blood work, everything under the sun until my doctor just stopped ordering things for me cause she didn’t know what else to do which was wild lol. Thankfully on one of the X-ray results I saw that they brought up spin straightening so I just took it into my own hands and went to a chiropractor for the first time ever and he confirmed that’s what it was. 6 months since then and I’ve gone from a 86% loss of curve in my neck to 16% and it’s been life changing. All this to say you absolutely know what’s up and you’ll figure it’ll all out and it’s gonna be ok🫶🏼

TW: Stomach and medical issues I'm working part-time and working on a second career. I'm taking Film courses via college and SkillShare currently. (College is Film/TV production and I'm taking extra courses so I can specialize a little more/take practical classes online.). I have Lupus and SIBO (3rd type). I just had a thyroid scan and bloodwork done; I'm sure I either have Hashimoto's or lymph problems. They apparently found something from either test because I have an appointment in August from my family doctor that is never available. I have fainting issues so mom asked if I needed her to come in with me. I was gaslit for so long by my doctor's saying nothing was wrong w my neck/throat and regularly choking on food plus having regurge issues.

Sweet gyal, I totally feel you with the thought about going back to school at 28. I am 28 as well and I’ll start uni in October! I thought about it a lot, since all my friends are done with uni and everything and start building there live! to be honest, and it took me a bit to realise but this it what you do for YOU and you only, at the age of 28 you kind of know what u want in life and you want to learn something that’s amazing for you, your mind and your growth! And even if you don’t finish it or at some point your like „naaah it’s to mich pressure“ you tried, a lot of people don’t have the strength to even try! So I guess what I wanted to say is, you’ll never lose when you try to open up your mind to new things and to learn! At the end: I watch you for a while now, and I love your vibe and how your mind works! Lots of love from good old Hamburg, Germany! 🫶🏼

Hi Kristen! I’ve never commented on one of your videos but it all resonated with me. I’m 22 and thought I had IBS for a long time and when I got a new job at an endoscopy center, I decided to set up my own appointment. They did a colonoscopy and ended up finding a precancerous colon polyp (which doesn’t have symptoms) and he said he does think I have IBS but can’t confirm until we do another colonoscopy in 3 years to make sure it isn’t crohns. I’m on some meds now for the IBS and it’s the best I have ever felt with my gut. AND because we found a precancerous colon polyp which made this whole thing worth it. Grateful I went in for my problems, otherwise who knows what the state of the polyp would have been by the time I’m 45 (the required age for colonoscopy’s). This isn’t to scare you, just to share my experience with getting my digestive problems figured out. I wish you the best of luck. It will be so worth it so figure out what’s going on ❤️❤️❤️ Love your content and you so much!

I’m 26 I’m going back to school to become to special ed teacher. I see a lot people who are older then me going back to school. I’m trying to rise my gpa and try to get good grades. I honestly struggle with college algebra. That was hard to learn. I pass with a C.

I used to have the worst brain fog and anxiety and ever since I went vegetarian it’s honestly gotten SO much better!! Maybe try cutting meat out of your diet and see if it helps?
