I like the makeover, but the dining room rug is too small. Also, it should be a darker color. A darker rug would hide spills, etc.when eating at the table. I do like the rug in the living room.

You have wonderful taste and talent and that reflects in this makeover. The way you mixed references: wow! The only "negative" aspect is that there is no element to entertain the 3rd one living in this apartment. I know it is a challenge to find cat furniture that blends well that specially for that I'd love to see your creativity tackling this challenge and giving me some ideas :)

I wanted to suggest a video with an apartment makeover for a hetero couple, or something around blending masculine/feminine styles - when my ex-boyfriend moved into my apartment, I had created a bedroom that had quite a feminine feel to it - so how do you redecorate your bedroom so it feels like 'our' bedroom but also a balance of masculine and feminine?

The apartment upgrade looks great. My wife and I had done some revamping in our apartment, and we installed new curtains. It was a challenge due to the sliding doors and windows being flushed with the ceiling. We had to mount the rods as high as it could go.

It is amazing to see! Such a beautiful transformation. I didn’t see Shannon’s paintings in the reveal. Were they in a place I missed, or did I misunderstand. Were they just used as inspiration? Changing out dated vertical blinds always makes a huge difference. Thanks for the tip on the carpet tape. My area rugs slip all over the place. As I’ve aged, I find I trip more…especially in flip flops! Mystery to me, but it is what it is. Everything I’ve tried to stop the movement on my carpeting, gathers fluff and stops working!
