Great video and big inspiration! I've been looking for a hybrid training plan for forever! Just downloaded the app and started the plan today! Next step is to break this scale for my food.

I’m about two weeks into the ibex hybrid training and am loving it. The iso leg workouts identified my muscle imbalance in both str and stability and the program is helping me address the problem. Request: can you talk about the approach you have when coming up with the weekly programming? Would love to know more about your methodology.

This looks like an interesting program. I'm an ex crossfitter who just started running. Already scheduled a 10K running competition 😊

I am just starting your HYBRID Athlete program and I just completed my first 5K last weekend. I have never been a runner, always just a lifter, so I’m trying really hard to be a better runner. 2 weeks Prior to my 5K I stopped lifting and just focused on my running (form, pace, etc). I’m just finishing up week 1 of your program and because I took 2 weeks off of lifting my legs are SO sore which is making it hard to get runs in. Do you recommend skipping the run and doing something else for cardio if my legs are trash And then run later in the week when the soreness goes away? Or try to run through the soreness?

quick question - what is the biggest difference between IBEX60 Strength & Conditioning, and Lift/Run programs? would one be better for more experienced athletes? 😊
@Kristi-Eramo-OConnell Жыл бұрын
Hey!! They are very different programs, and your goals and interest will determine the best match! The type of experience will also dictate a recommendation, but honestly the best part is that members have access to all programs. IBEX60 strength and conditioning is closer to a crossfit style program with bodybuilding and accessory work. The Lift/run program has some optional conditioning pieces but it focuses conditioning around running, and then strength and accessory work/bodybuilding as well. We also target the accessory work around keeping everyone healthy and injury free with all the running!! feel free to join our facebook group if you have any other questions!! or shoot us an email! facebook.com/groups/709766249572377/

I like to sign up for your hybrid 4 weeks program. How should I approach this?
@getyourfitonproductions11 ай бұрын
I am not a big fan of running but I know how important it is for you body. I actually prefer dirt trail running over asphalt or concrete. Do you have any suggestions on how to best approach adding running into my workout. Or...is a fast pace walk just as beneficial????
@Kristi-Eramo-OConnell11 ай бұрын
Trail running is great! I would start with some walk runs... for example run 1 min walk 2 min, then run 1 min walk 1 min, then run 1:30 walk :30 and so on! Just slowly cutting down the walking volume and increasing the run volume over time!

If anyone can do an ultra and kick some but while doing it is you ! I have to personally thank you because thanks to you guys and everything you teach in your videos I learn that being skinny and super lean wasn’t going to get me where I wanted to be specially at my age . That I needed to concentrate in getting stronger and building muscle mass! You made me a healthier athlete;) And hey if you can come up with a modified program for ultra distance that would be awesome !!!

Is this program good for those of us who are new to running or havent ran in a while but are trying to get back into it? Need to improve for a pft test in a year
@Kristi-Eramo-OConnell Жыл бұрын
Hi, yes absolutely. You can always cut the time down on those or distance if needed to what feels good for you. You can email info@ibextrained.com and they can help you adjust the distance if needed! There are 3 days per week of running with an optional 4th!

Just be careful bc people don’t think about the fact that there is absolutely something called good running form and most of us lost that when we stopped doing a lot of running in our teenage years. Then people try to jump back in all at once and get injured. I say go for it, but be very conscious of your form💪🏼💪🏼💯💯
