@@KristieMarcotte My attention span hasn't been agreeable to the ones where you do one card in nearly-real-time, I'm afraid. But all the others, 6x6 pads and Love From Lizi and all, I watch them again and again. I've learned so much from observing your paper matching and sketch choices and even hand movements. I acclimated to the ATG as quickly as I did because I'd been watching your hands go to it. I'm afraid as fans go, you're stuck with me ♡

Terrie Rodrigue Thank you! I appreciate your kindness and feedback. This kit is really lovely and I enjoyed using it. 😊 I don’t always have a reason why I make 2 or 6 of the same style card. Sometimes it’s determined by what papers I have available. Sometimes, I just feel like doing a new sketch. 🙂

Yes! Soooo glad to see this Mega set of cards - the paper pack is beautiful and your work is always outstanding. I also liked this format when having such a large amount of paper - BUT I watch all of your videos regardless of how long or short they are! I always learn from your talent - I like the way you put your own spin on the designs (adding the peel-offs, not adding a matted strip or using a die for the sentiment instead of a stamp). I already have a large collection of Christmas paper but this mega-pack is beautiful - still trying to decide.... Get a few days rest before jumping into the next paper pack - I'll be watching and waiting.... Loads of love!

Hi Kristie, this is the first video of yours I've watched. I thought it would be like a "one pad wonder" where I get instructions on how to use a stack most efficiently. Turned out it's not, but I still enjoyed myself and learned something - I have always cut all the mats first, now I know I can save some time using one top to cut a strip of matting and then go ahead with more top layers doing just one cut. I also saw some card sketch sources I hadn't been to before. Thanks a lot!

What a beautiful collection of cards! I do love the traditional colors. I'm in the group that would prefer you not abbreviate your videos. I like watching each step. I love the snowman and the let it snow the best (because I love that snowman paper). I understand you needed to shorten it, but don't do it on my account. I like seeing how you do it all! It's never boring even if you're doing a bunch the same because I'm in awe. Plus I like keeping track of how many rolls of tape you use. LOL And if you speed it up (or skip) too much I won't see how your nails almost always match the collection. :) PS...Do you have enough Christmas cards yet? LOL
@KristieMarcotte6 жыл бұрын
Deborah Wildman Thank you! I appreciate your kindness and feedback. The snowman paper is really lovely. It sounds like most people would prefer the full video. Love these cards!!! So I have a bunch of questions. 😬 1. Where do you get your solid cardtock? 2. Does sketch selection come with practice? 3. Do you bulk buy ATG refills? 4. Where can I get that Christmas music? It is beautiful! I would like a longer video just to listen to it more.
@tracytracy6226 жыл бұрын
Thanks for asking questions that I, too, would love the answers to :)
@KristieMarcotte6 жыл бұрын
Beverly Stotz Thank you! 😊 1) I purchase individual sheets at Joann’s when it goes on sale. I buy my black cardstock from Michaels in the value packs. But I own a lot of cardstock and always try to use that first. 2) Yes, I think choosing sketches does come with practice. I look at what paper I have left, then choose a sketch. Sometimes I look for a specific sketch to fit a stamp or diecut. 3) I purchase my ATG refills by the case (144 rolls) from The Tape Jungle. I watch for a sale and usually pay less than $1 a roll. 4) All the music I use is copyright/royalty free. I have a link to the music source in the description.

I like the longer video's but that just me. Whatever works best for you is what matters so that you continue to to share your talents! I do have a question about the process....so when you choose your sketch are you cutting your patterned paper to the measurements on the sketch and then cutting the layering cardstock 1/8th of an inch larger? I make cards but they are 5 x 6 1/2 so I am trying to merge the two together and confuse my measurements sometimes. So when you make 30 or so cards, I am only getting maybe half that which is ok, but would like to make more cards if I can!
@KristieMarcotte6 жыл бұрын
Monica Sanchez-Conrad Thank you for the feedback. It sounds like most people prefer the full version. I’ll see how the next mega pack video goes. 😊 I generally cut the pattern paper to the sketch measurements and add 1/8” for the matted layers. Sometimes I’ll change it up depending on the size of available papers. 🙂
