It amazes me that a podcaster was able to do what the cops couldn’t. Bravo Chris Lambert. You deserve a medal.

It was completely mishandled from the beginning! Like not search Paul’s room until after every student was moved out and the dorm professional cleaned. Thankfully it didn’t stop 4 cadaver dogs from only hitting on two places in all of the dorms. Those places were the bed on the left side of the room, and a trash basket in same room. Paul’s room and Paul’s bed!

The fact that it took a podcaster to open up the case and capture him is mind blowing so if the podcaster never existed her case would’ve stayed closed WTF!!!!
@minimeggs2562
@minimeggs2562 Жыл бұрын
Please get your facts straight before assuming something. Her case was NEVER closed, it had been open all this time. Trust me, driving past a huge missing persons sign constantly has an effect on a community, there have been tips over the years but nothing substantial. It’s just that Cal Poly refused to open an investigation and it took too long to get SLO PD to open the case. Mistakes were made from day 1 which gave Paul time to cover his tracks. There’s a reason he moved away, he was harassed constantly and couldn’t take it. YES, I know this story all too well… I grew up right there.
@campbell3711
@campbell3711 3 ай бұрын
Didn’t capture anyone🤣🤣 His podcast made the story go international bringing more eyes and interest but he certainly did not “ crack the case” or solve it. He pointed the finger at the last person to be seen alive with Kristen which people in the same community ran the man responsible out so people knew who it was.

Cal Poly didn’t help the case. They didn’t want the bad headlines. Made sure his dorm room was cleaned before the cops could check it which was 10 days later! Her hair and skin would of been found in his room and possibly blood. Case over. Cadaver dogs found the scent of someone deceased on the mattress but no DNA evidence left after the cleaning. The golf cart he used to take her body to his vehicle was thoroughly washed , which was never done before by the golf team members , by all accounts I’ve read. More DNA evidence gone. Major cover up by CP.

After listening to People vs Flores I’m absolutely DISGUSTED with his attorney. Passive aggressive. Gaslighting. Disingenuous. Invalidating. Disrespectful of experts qualifications but also dismissive of the rules of the courtroom. He would just repeatedly ask questions over and over **even though they were forbidden in pre-trial** AND objected to/sustained each time he tried. And then he’d play innocent/frustrated/confused as to why he wasn’t being allowed to say what he wanted. Awful, awful man. The amount of times he play acted at being confused, as a manipulation tactic made me sick. Hope the jury saw through it. I’d have wanted to convict just based on his transparent efforts to twist the narrative with transparent lies. He came across as someone who knew his client was guilty and knew he couldn’t just use a straight defense, so he was going to manipulate and hope the jury was stupid. Not at all surprised that’s what a Flores would choose in a lawyer. His dad shouldn’t have been acquited. And his mom should have been next to him in the dock.

How law enforcement let him live free for 25 years is how badly and ineffectively our police system really does work. Our cops are laughable, if we weren't already dead from cop killings. Floyd can't laugh. Breonna can't laugh. We can't laugh. 😭😭😭

They just didnt have enough evidence and they were scared to drag him into court and lose because if he walked they could never charge again for killing kristin smart and they just wouldnt take that chance and waited alot of years before they took a chance and it worked it all pointed at paul amd he was the last one to see her and other small things but it just wasnt enough

Well, I know it must be frustrating for the family of the victim, when the case's gone cold, but I don't think that stalking the suspect is the right way to cope with it. What if it turned out that they have been stalking someone innocent for 20+ years? In this case they were right, but generally it's not a good way.
