If we were living in Malcolm's dream, black people would be striving for success. Too bad were living in MLK's dream where we settle for equality.

I tell you what, if somebody attacks me while I am trying to enjoy the rights that the constitution granted me, you better believe I will defend myself. That is what Malcolm X advocated. DEFENSE. If that means violence, SO BE IT. I doubt many of you would be so non-violent if someone is physically attacking you?

Malcolm X has been such a HUGE source of inspiration to me for many reasons. Firstly he wasn`t very educated and was at one point a 'criminal' he then became a respected figure and ended up debating at the university of oxford. Secondly he was a BRAVE man he knew he was going to be killed (he said so in his autobiography) yet he carried on speaking against injustice and inequality. May Allah grant him paradise.

This was. Powerful Man brother Leader and Father!! Today we don't have any leaders like this we have clowns putting on a show for the white man. Malcolm X stated in order to win this war you must be willing to Bleed!! But most aren't willing to shed blood for another or for even themselves!! I take my hat off to this brother I'm ready to bleed and I'm ready to take a stand for what I believe in and its for my community for better treatment. I'm ready are you?

i am a white man. malcolm x is one of my personal heros. In fact when i think of it all of my personal heros excepting my father are not white. El Che, Gandhi, Malcolm X all are not white, well maybe el che is but i digress. That is a good thought you have there. That is first class thinking.

While its true the economic situation of a person can have a huge impact, race is still an issue. Whether its larger or greater than the finances a person has to work with I don't know. Its part of why they refer to the SOCIOeconomic position of a person when talking about equality. Because race and ethnicity is still is a factor. Perhaps its even true if you're white. Have you ever known someone who judged a white man more harshly for being poor simply because he was white?

Equality? When did that happen? I must have missed it or you're deceived. Unity means to unite or come together for one purpose. ANY black person that is not about coming together to accomplish the things we need to as a community needs to go back to massas plantation cause that's all you're good for. IT IS about unity and it's NOT an impossibility. The minute you believe it's not possible, you admit defeat. I'M NOT DEFEATED !!
