I asked them to send me a return shipping label and I would return the swords to them since they couldn't get my payment from Paypal. They told me to keep the swords and they would get back to me with an alternate means of paying them. So far they have been friendly and I've received my swords. Interesting.

@@ToxicityAssured Thank you for the compliment. SInce Dragon Swords were quick to respond with their emails and then told me to keep the swords I will do a transfer to them (despite a $45 fee). The original Paypal charge did go through so I am working with them to get that back but I will be transferring the money to them in the next few days. All in all it was a hiccup but they have have proven to be responsive and decent. Also, I love their swords. I hope they can solve the paypal problem. A good 9260 spring steel sword at this price is a good deal (based on my beginner's level of knowledge).

It's pretty cool when swords this cheap look this good, and hold up so well. This almost looks like it could be used as a tameshigiri loaner for beginners. What do you think? The snapping wasn't surprising, seeing how flexible it is, which of course would be a worry if beginners are using it, but it seems to need serious abuse for that to become an issue.

Good sword overall, but mine was really not as well assembled as yours despite paying for the "hishigami pro": The habacki juts out along the spine and bites your finger unless you get it out of the way as you're doing noto, and unfortunately I can't adjust the habacki because all the fittings are glued in. The fuchi kashira knot is a little loose as well , and one of the hishigami panels is showing on my copy. The menuki aren't exactly in the right place -- they should fit squarely in the palm of your hand.

Incredible value for the money. If only it had a full 360 degree samegawa wrap instead of panels, and horn saya fittings. Then, it would be literally perfect.

The Xu Furen Sword company from Longquan makes a great sword for the dollar. I have ordered four swords from them and have been very content (one is on the way, my Tang Dao). The Katana I bought from them for $108.00 is high carbon full tang and very tight ito and Tsuba. If you could review something from them, that would be great. I will tell them about you. Aloha

I heard that from another person too. I don't have any reason to believe you will not be sent a sword, however, I would no personally be comfortable with a wire transfer.

@@CJLiveFromTheOutdoors If you already have the product and are please with it then I would not be bothered with a wire transfer. So long as you are happy and they cover the fee required to use the transfer service. The risk in transferring is that you don't have any power if things go wrong. If that is not a risk, then I would not mind doing a transfer.

Copy/Paste from my post earlier today: GOT A BIG UPDATE FROM DRAGON SWORD TODAY!!! THEY CAN'T TAKE PAYMENTS CURRENTLY!!! I bought two of their nicer katana on 3/21 with the upgraded handle option totaling a hefty $1,560 for both. The last week went so slow dreaming about new katanas. Well shit! Today I get an email their PayPal is permanently locked due to "selling weapons". They asked me to issue a refund request with PayPal and then directly wire $1,560 into their bank in China... Hmmm. Would you wire money into a foreign account? I would have zero recourse and be relying absolutely only on seller faith. I REALLY want the two swords because they seem higher quality than others can provide... but is it worth the bizarre and unusual payment process they are requesting? Taco, I'm about to scream!!!! WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS... I AM BEYOND SADDENED THIS IS HAPPENING.
