Like some of the other comments suggest. For the leak down test you install the tester, get your air supply setup and then turn the engine over by hand until the gauge pressure reading jumps up, it should match your inlet pressure reading or not, if there’s leak down. 100% leak down on all 4 cylinders, the car would not run at all. That happens to my DA , I have to leave the AC running , press the button on what ever position I want the air to flow , and after a while it changes

When you need to do a leak down test, plug the air line in the cylinder and then just turn the engine over and watch the gauge it will get hard to turn on the comp stroke. You keep turning the engine as much as you can slowly and watch the reading on the gauge. Sometimes you can turn it past the comp stroke and sometimes it’s so much pressure you can’t but you can get the reading you need hood that helps man

Need a block tester on the cooling system to see if there is hydrocarbons are getting into the cooling system. Almost a sure way to check for blown head gasket!

Make sure those are not oem spec pistons. They come "oval" shape and the rings will wear out fast, you will loose compression and burn alot of oil. Seen it multiple times on b18c builds.

fyi I did an auto to manual swap. on my 1988 civic lx sedan... you can use an auto ecu for a manual swap.

I wonder if that was 100% leaking or 100% sealed. On my leak tester the gauges go up at the same time. If you put 100psi on 1 gauge, if the other gauge read 95, you would have 5% leakage.

Did an engine swap the speedo cable is fully seated inside the transmission, but the tacho isn’t working what could cause it

Check signal from either the dizzy or the coil. On Chevy and VW it's usually green. That's the only thing I can think of.
