The problem is finding a somewhere to lock it around a thick pole i do delivery uber eats and stuff but am have a hard time finding a good lock with a long chain that can go around a thick pole cause most restaurants dont have bike racks

you can buy two of these and then lock them together with the included u lock. That would give you 10 ft of chain.

i've been trying to decide on a safe bike lock for the ebike i'm getting. I work 12hours shifts at a papermill either during the day or overnight night from 7 to 7 and it's near a poorish neighborhood. So I need something that won't having me worrying if my bike is safe and I think this is the lock i've been searching for hahaha!

This chain is a great start but in your situation I would recomend having multiple bad ass locks on your bike. One is not enough. You can probably leave one or more of them locked up to the rack at work so that you dont have to transport them. I use this chain and then also have the Abus Granit Extreme 59 U lock as my other bad ass lock and then a 3rd cheapo U lock just for my front tire.

Get permission from your employer to bring your bike and store it inside the mill somewhere while you work. Otherwise eventually it's going to be stolen

Hey I Nicholas I also work 12 shifts at a paper mill factory 6pm til 6am. I bought this lock and love it for my ebike. Would totally recommend it. I also use a Amazon bike alarm as well. This lock is beefy. Love mine.

.... Would this be good to put in a car, around the gas/brake pedal and through the steering wheel, with the lock part down by the pedals?!? I'm thinking that it's better than any of the steering wheel locks?!? 🤷‍♂️.... Anyone have any ideas???

I use this plus it’s U Lock in combination with the ABUS GRANIT Extreme chain and U Lock both were the strongest in the world till the release of the altor SAF and D1000

I choke lock the chains around the frame and then loop it around my heavy duty bike rack on my bike on my car. It would be a mother f***** to take that thing off

15lbs is an insane amount of weight to carry around with you.

It's more meant to be a stationary lock that means you just leave it however it'll be good for an EBike.
