Great review and just as soon as the weak bottle issue is resolved I'll put my rush order in. I did like Keav's comment that MJJC might as well/should start a subscription service on those weak bottles. But, as mentioned, if you should break the bottle, all is not lost because you can still screw in a threaded small mouth bottle and keep going.

Thanks for the review Martin. MJJC probably makes the best foam cannons around. I still have an original MJJC foam cannon I bought a long time ago (my first foam cannon) off of Amazon. It still works! And it's at least 8 to 10 years old. I wonder if MJJC doesn't build the Griots BOSS Foam cannon for them? I'm not sure, but it looks a lot like the MJJC designs as far as the bottle and screw cap design which looks identical to some of the MJJC models. MJJC probably makes other companies (who aren't manufacturers themselves) foam cannons for them and then label them for that company to that company's specification and design requirements. I don't mind the opaque white bottle designs on a lot of the foam cannons (which are usually a lot thicker and robust against drops) as long as I can see my liquid level through the opaque white color of the bottle, which is important to me. Clear is nice, but you are right, they are much thinner compared to the milky white colored bottles like on the BOSS Foam cannon and the MJJC V2 cannon (which I highly suspect are the same internal components if in fact that MJJC does make the Griot's cannon for them). I'm sure MJJC will replace or improve the clear bottle on their next update after hearing the complaints from the detailers who have already reviewed this brand new cannon, such as Michael over at Cars with Keav who demonstrated that the clear bottle is complete junk, but the cannon head itself is very good. Why MJJC chose to release a brand new bottle and didn't do their homework in testing and put that crap quality bottle on it. The design and colors are cool for sure, but they need to update the bottle design. I think Mr. Keav said that if they married up a better bottle design, it would be one of the best foam cannons out there at this time. I do like the colors with the Blue and Silver. That looks sharp. 2 oz of ADS decon soap in there foams really good. I'm glad you pointed out that you can read the numbers on the side better because that is my biggest foam canon complaint. I can barely read the markings on most.

there are way too many people that comment on dropping the foam cannon and breaking it. given the new thumb indent and quick connect bottle, you must have arthritis or small female size hands to be dropping this if you cant hold it for 2 seconds. a stainless steel m22 connector from suttner is already 28-30 dollars and you can adapt a 1/4 quick disconnect if your unhappy.

Its not on amazon because of shipping and check in times. Its a chinese brand so its easy for them to have it first because thats where they are based. We could probably see this in at amazon in probably 4-6 weeks. edit - apparently they are aware of the negative feedback of the bottle and have plans to do something about it. I dont know if its a new bottle design, an upgraded bottle for purchase/free, whatever the case may be.

I got it and I knew it'd shatter into a million pieces so I lightly scuffed it up then plasti dipped it let it dry and sprayed a few layers more. now it is is textured and rubbery. Hopefully I don't drop it but it feels like it'll definately take a little fall. probably not a big drop though. yeah they need hdpe replacement option bottle

The advantage of non HDPE is that it's clear, If you are just gonna paint it then just use HDPE. Am I missing something?

with new the mjjc pro v3 you’re not getting just a fragile canister!!! you’re getting the legendary mjjc patented dual mesh creamy dreamy foam creator, and tell em what else they’re getting! well you’ll also be getting a dual thread pattern that will allow you to continue using that patented foam system with other bottles!!! that’s right folks if an unfortunate drop should occur all is not lost! you can use the inner 28mm thread pattern with a bottle of your choice, so remember kids don’t throw away those empty car shampoo bottles away just yet. legendary creamy foam and 2 different bottle options and all for the low low introductory price of $100 dollars … wow!!! 😜 bottom line….be careful with your detailing tools, if an accident happens you have an option to continue using this cannon (a option many other cannons don’t provide), if you don’t have the cash don’t buy it, and if you’re scared go to church

Keav did a review on this, Pro V3 foams exactly the same as the V2, shame it still has the brass orifice and brass M22 connect. But the worst part is the plastics, bottle and the manifold cover is all clear plastic which is painted silver and blue, its VERY brittle. Keav dropped TWO, both bottles shattered instantly. The Pro V2 has High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) material all around but this Pro V3 is not durable at all, definitely not for pro usage, seems they let marketing people run the R&D on Pro V3, rather than engineers and prosumers.

One thing you didn't do is drop it empty or full and it's been dropped once by other youtube channels and it dropped once just stick with the mjjc Pro V2 because the bottles so brittle and $100 I'd give it 6/10

The bottle is pure crap! Cars With Keav did a drop test from 3 ft up, and it broke not just a little crack but broke-broke! The funny part is the bottle was empty! LOL! Unless they can make a version 3.1 with a better bottle I´ll say stay with the pro v2 Edit; To you guys saying you want drop it, you will! Also the other smartypants watching a vid about a new snow-foam lance and then commenting on how stupid and what a waste of time they are. LOL! The irony is that you just spent 20 min watching a vid a bout a product you dont use and care about, and then you spend some more time informing everyone about it on a forum. @Juicefree well I've learned ther3s no one way to skin a cat when it comes to detailing. Some people do some people don't all depends on what kind of detailing you're doing and what you're charging for your time. The foam cannon for a lot of mobile detailers gives people a show and attracts attention. For me it's because I meticulously care for my paint after it's polished so I take extra precautions to keep it that way.
