Hey Kabayan! Running 33s with 0 offset wheels. Planning to add 1” spacers. Do you think ill be needing an extension lug nuts? And what trimming did you do when you add the 1.25” spacers? salamat Kabayan!
@modXELA5 күн бұрын
@@jhasperherrera8310 hey kabayan, I would highly recommend the extension lugs, it’s a small price to pay for your safety. To get rid of rubbing, I had to do the CMC, removed the mud guards and remoulded covers around the wheel wells. After I installed my bumper guard and winch, it dropped and rubbed again so I had to install a levelling kit. Check out my channel for all those videos. I hope this helps, just give me a shout if I can be of any assistance

I want to purchase 1” spacers for my 2020 TRD PRO. I plan on buying 285 75R16 tires. Would you be able to lead me to which specific extension lug nuts to buy ?!
@modXELA4 ай бұрын
Make sure to buy hub centric spacers. Anyway, I checked forums and couldn't find any discussions on using extended studs with 1" spacers unfortunately. There's a chance that the spacers will already come with extended lugs so check the vendor first. On this note, I also sent a query to Bora and KSP for their input. Will share once I hear back.

Did you use red locktite?is it hard to remove the spacer when you need to replace rotor?
@modXELA Жыл бұрын
Yes I did and it’s not hard to remove. I haven’t replaced my rotors yet on the truck but I recently replaced my rotors on my Acura TLX which has a 1” spacers. No issues removing the spacers with loctite on the lugs using my impact driver which produces up to 1,825 inch-lb of torque.

I did a thorough inspection when I installed my winter tires. I've put on about 19k kms on it since the install and all looks in good order. No cracks, no warping, no shearing off the studs. Just make sure you install properly - centered and torqued correctly. I have the same brand on my other cars (Acura TLX and Honda Civic) and I'm a happy customer so far!

Nice video. Are your wheels already pushed out more than stock before the spacers? Adding 285-75-16 to my stock 2020 TRD Tacoma Pro. Was going to add a 1.25 spacer for stance.
@modXELA3 жыл бұрын
Hey Doug, thanks for tuning in... without spacers, it was sticking out about 0.85" with the 0-offset wheels. I wasn't satisfied with that stance so I added the 1.25" spacers. Of course this came with a consequence (tire rubbing) so I had to do CMC.
@bobmalarkey46213 жыл бұрын
Just put that same size tire on my 2020 pro. Had to put spacers on to get the new tires to clear the SPC ucas, even with a 3" lift on the front. The pro has a slightly different set of geometry measurements than lower trim models, so you may have to breakout the tape measure and make adjustments a couple times.
