KSP 2: Debdeb System Overview - New moon, possible order of planets, unknown map

I would like to emphasize that the only planets officially confirmed for Debdeb are Charr, Gurdamma, and Glumo. This video is my best guess on where the other new planets could be if they are in Debdeb as well. Nate has confirmed that some planets we've seen are from different systems. A lot of this is speculation based on early information. A lot of these things may change by the time the game is released. They don't necessarily have to orbit Kerbol but you can't make Kerbol the non-default system or else the game will shit its self, "the Sun" needs to be Kerbol for the game to work. Another thing is even with Kopernicus and Kopernicus watchdog after about 5LY in real-scale distance the game starts having problems with de-sync and keeping the game together with such far away objects.

Interestingly, we've seen KSP 2 footage of almost every planet and moon - except for Eve. Maybe it looks different, and the devs are keeping it a surprise until the game comes out?

I suspect that Puff is gonna be around another star. Given that it’s an eyeball planet, it’s most likely tidally locked, so it’s likely around a red dwarf star. Perhaps it’s around the analog for Bernard’s star.

What makes me think it's not tidally locked is the ice poles. If it was totally locked it would probably have ice on the dark side, and the poles make it seem like it is spinning, warming all around the equatorial regions.

The funny thing is: even though I'm excited about a multi-solar system KSP 2, I know I'll spend most of my time around Kerbin and the Mun. Launching probes, having fun with a space shuttle and a space station, setting up a communication's network.

I don’t like that idea as said updates would ruin peoples colonies unexpectedly, although… pure shot in the dark, maybe you could terraform planets to be more like Kerbin, but only per save so if you start over you would need to terraform again for replay ability. Time would not be an issue thanks to KSP2’s improved Time warp.

so it seems like they are going to design a static starmap for the close by systems .. rather than going down the procedural route for everything outside of kerbol .. which is something i like the idea of .. all the nearby stuff is static and then further out into the galaxy it becomes procedural .. i hope that asteroids/comets have little SOI so we can put probes in orbit for science and perhaps on larger 1s build a asteroid base and mine and construct intergalactic massive starships from .. basically what we would be doing in real life once we do start to explore space and our own star system .. asteroid mining is going to be big business in the future with massive rotating habs built into them for crew to live at .7g atleast and control drones to mine the surface and process the ore using massive mirrors in orbit focusing the sun down onto the material to melt and forge it

As of right now the other planetary systems will not be included until later in early access. The developers want the player feedback to focus on the core of the game for now.
