Robbie Callaghan same here, I was watching content WAY before I purchased the game, and played the demo version for I don’t know how long, and then came that holy day on the 10 of october, 2013, when I little 10 year old me finally bought the full version, which back then 24 usd was around 16 euros for me, I didn’t know of the existence of steam back then, but I do remember that the ‘now on steam trailer’ from KSP came out after I bought the game, so I have nowhere to actually see how long I’ve played this game, but well over 3000 hours is just a guess that assumes me literally playing everyday, and that was the case, for a few years playing probably at least 2 hours a day, sometimes maybe even 3 or 4, and I did that for a few years, and then came the end of 2016, after which I only really played for short times after new updates came out, but I’ve just recently picked up on the game again, seriously this dwarfs all of my accomplishments combined in all of my time playing...

Pour one out for the launch mechanism which heroically sacrificed its self when it decoupled the manned primary stage. Instantly applying the full force of the counterweight (which is of course the same force able to send the next stage to orbit) to it and shedding itself. Also if you decoupled the counterweight at the same time would the quadcopter be recoverable??? That would send the weight towards kerbin where it could probably survive with just some parachutes (tho why you didn't use one on the return eludes me (prob just for the drama))

my first thought: Holy Crap! I thought I was awesome when I built a big honking Rhino engine powered Voyage look-alike monstrosity in Kerbin orbit, got it to Duna, landed 3 guys and got them back to Kerbin. well done, my friend, well done.

This is completely amazing. How you got this to work is mind blowing. Utterly fantastic

Both camera work and engineering are fantastic. This made me think how smart and creative a lot of people are, we only need to have a material and tool to do our best. (I also did some challenges and won a couple, but never went that extreme, let alone shoot a video like this.)

This looks even more difficult than the first time I finally got into orbit. Seriously though, this is the best KSP video I've ever seen. Just floored by it.
