The demand for CPU power feels like exponential to complexity of project. We would need true multi core usage and optimization. For console, it must go to the console approval team so they can test it for stability and make sure it's clear of any malicious code. This approval takes time, so the only way to get console and PC players to get content the same day is to delay PC deployment until the console is cleared.

I don't think console updates will be at the same time as PC updates. But I am hopeful it will be faster than it is for KSP1, which wasn't created with consoles in mind from the start.

Puf was presented first at PAX (creeping me out since then) and I remember seeing a Unity window, also in one of the older videos where there was a section called "Planetshine". Just saying

Maybe it’s just me but the Orion drive looks very big. Bigger than I remember it in other gameplay. So maybe different sizes of Orion drive?
@downloadableram26664 жыл бұрын
I was thinking that one used conventional explosives (the smaller one) and the bigger one used nuclear explosives. In the real Orion drive, there was a "minimum size" required to make sure the nuclear explosion doesn't turn the crew and anything else inside into a pancake.

I think I remember that they announced 3 different size for the Orion Drive

dude, imagine... if we actually got rockets that shake ice off when you start up the engines...

If we get ice formation, I'd be wary of some frozen O-rings popping up hehe

I just finally got into the first game and a lot of these things were stuff I wanted to do. Guess I'll learn how to play before this one releases.

In other video they mentioned trading with friends in multiplayer. That almost confirms in game currency were you can sell resorces or parts

1:12 I think puf may be tidally locked, and far enough that most of the planet is frozen

How can puf be tidal locked? Its too far away from its star
@WB_WRHD4 жыл бұрын
@@molecule8611 idk, but it's the best explanation I can think of, a dim star with lots of gravity

Bro they need to add sinking physics. SO if you land on a planet/moon with water you can actually sink if you hit the water to hard. It will still have the same thing from KSP 1, where if you hit the water TO hard, you basically break apart. It would be a good idea if you think about it. Gives it more of a challenge.

I imagine multiplayer space will be very scientific and professional meanwhile on Kerbin people build fighter jets and ICBMs from nuclear parts...

only thing you did not point out was the kerbal dancing .. does that mean they have custom emotes?
@rileyblackford98864 жыл бұрын
I hope they dont make it too sci-fi-y... I like some sense of making realistic looking, and functioning rockets and missions, without using mods. Nevertheless, still excited!

Holy crap saturn! I hope the rings are collidable and that they are randomized in your world or like there is 4 big asteroids which are their own biome its so cool to think what they can do with a Saturn like planet
@texasred10004 жыл бұрын
My idea is that the new puf planet is that it got hit with a giant asteroid made of ice and that’s why it has a ocean
@illusiveelk25584 жыл бұрын
That first planet looked like it might have been tidally locked. This could get interesting.
