Officially converted the CIVIC to electric power steering . Rack is from a 2002-2005 Civic SI. Remember to grab everything needed (RACK, MOUNTS, BRAIN BOX MODULE AND WIRING) . This video should guide you through the process. Few tips and rack upgrades along the way to help you out. ENJOY.

I was able to pull a EPS unit recently. Have to go back and figure out how to get the wiring out lol

Oh yeah lol not an easy task but it can be done . you will have to cut the ground wire that bolted to the chassis .after that it’s just a matter of pulling in all directions

When I put my EPS in my RSX, I used the German standard measurement of Gudentite

Seeking help! i completed this swap and the steering wheel is steering it self erratically at idle in my drive way. Am I screwed? how can I reset the BCU without EPS being standard in my car?

Hey man have u already figured it out what the problem of self steering is?? I actually have the same with my DC5 R jdm after installing eps and wiring. Like you said it's not standard in our cars.. anyone suggestions?

@@JORDYWx Honestly I gave up, I have been driving without power steering now for months. I have multiple BCUs and they all act the same.

@@Lzzgundam it's working now on my car man, just switch the green and red cable in the connector on your steering rack in the engine bay

Don’t think so, 02-05 civic si, non si and rsx are the same chassis . 8th gen it changed completely

Pretty sure you can get them off a civic Hybrid as well. I know you can swap the whole rack from an ES Hybrid bc my buddy did it but idk what’s entailed.

Hey there ! I dont know if your car is allready finished now, but just a question ? When i kswapped my em2 , i also swapped the ep3R electric rack.. but for me, it's horrible... vague steering , bumpsteer , tramlining , not steering straight,almost no self-centering... it's a known problem, but i allready tried everything to fix it! Put a facelift rack in (they said the problem was mostly solved in the facelift ep3 rack) , same problems. I then put in the shg slider , a tegiwa rack riser, fast road geo... everything... nothing seems to help it... even with all the changes it didnt even feel any different... anybody having the same problem or would know what can cause this ? I'm seriously considering putting back a manual rack in it... Grtz thx alot !
