KTM 1190 Adventure rear brake disc and pad change with Galfer DF793FLW wave disc

What type of pads did you fit, Galfer? Are they the semi-metallic or sintered HH? Did you change the rotor to upgrade performance or some other reason? I’m due for new pads and I need to decide on sintered HH or more OEM style.

I have been using sintered pads made in China. Work great - Google “1190 pads KTM AliExpress”. Reason for disc change was my disc was well below min thickness - and also to improve cooling

Meerkat 1 FilmCrew, great, thanks. Have the sintered pads increased rotor wear at all compared to standard pads?

Ronan Rogers - the AliExpress pads where so cheap I thought they would be blah - but in fact they seem just as good with grip and wear as the big name brands? And they were 20% of the price . Makes me wonder if the middle men talk up the price for rebadging them
