I'd be really interested in doing a video with you folks documenting changes on my 2022 SDR, few issues with low down fuelling and tracking, especially with cruise control (hunts around trying to find the right speed) and general power dips due to restrictions. Bike is similar to this with a pipewerx can but fairly stock other than that. I'd be then interested in following that up with changes when I get round to removing the cats and tertiary stock emissions gear on there in future.

Looking at the std map power run they don't suffer with etv restrictions its mainly fuel and timing correction

Are you able to see mixtures on cyl 1 and 2 not as a combined reading.

Yes, we can rig the AFR pick up to read the cylinders independently. We usually do this on the very first development bike to establish if the factory has set them up differently.

Interesting same dyno a tune 1200 Speed with stock exhaust and filter is running a couple of bhp less than the 1290 with exhaust wow.

Ive heard they run them lean on partial throttle. Just picked up a 22 sdr and it runs terrible on part throttle, even jerks/misfires between 2.5 3.5 rev range. Seems like its a common issue lately with these. Is it a possibility that a map will sort this issue?

Yes all the KTM Euro 5 bikes run lean. Our remaps will fix all the issues caused by lean running especially the jerky running, poor throttle response and lumpy power delivery. We have done a video on the Euro 5 SDR which you can find here kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5OWqnd4opajoKs

I have a s1000r and don't want to get anything aftermarket, I like it quiet. Would I still improvements in the fuelling with it standard?

would ktm dealer be able to see map on the ecu incase it invalidate the warranty

If any manufacturer looks closely at the ECU and takes a full read they will always be able to see the map. Dealers don’t normally have the ability to check in house but if the data is uploaded to the factory then any modifications to the ECU mapping will be found. Obviously all manufacturers are different but this is what we believe to be the case generally. Having said that a remap does not mean that the manufacturer can invalidate the warranty.

All I wanted was something cheap like a BoosterPlug to fix closed loop fueling and now I'm looking at this :) Does your flash it improve closed loop fueling?

First of all good job! Just curious about whether this flash also work for the 2020 model? As i recall the 2020 got all the hardware for Euro 5, but is still got approved after Euro 4 rules. I know MCE Performance in Austria have been doing flashes for a while, but I'm a bit scared of sending the whole ECU to Austria. Seems a lot safer to order one of your units, if they actually work with the 2020 🙂
