Would have been nice to see the BC mounts mounted... I don't like those U-clamps as they seem to scratch the handlebar a lot..

How well do the quick flip mirror mounts from Rottweiler work with these Zeta Pro handguards? I have seen some mounted on the normal Zeta handguards but not the Pros. The pros have the black plastic guard on the sides and I am concerned about that causing an issue.

Not sure on that one, I've never used them. Those plastic protectors on the PRO's are removable though. They are just attached with 2 screws on each side.

Just to answer my own question after getting the Zeta Pros and testing out how the Quick Flip mounts fit. The answer is they don't fit all that great. You might can make it work but will take a lot of patience to get them mounted in the sweet spot so that they are angled correctly. You also only have one shot at it when you start drilling. Lots of curves on the Zeta handguards and the back side is not flat but is indented in the middle. That makes getting them mounted in the correct location a challenge. On the plus side I really like the Zeta's over the factory guards. Going to go with some Super Moto Mirrors as shown in this video for my mirror needs. Also wanted to say that flipping the Zeta mounts seems the best method of mounting if you are using the U-clamps. I tried it both ways and there wasn't enough room on right side. The brake lines are just to close to the mount.

@@geneshaw1234 Thanks for the update. Fitting handguards on that bike was a bit more of a challenge than on other bikes, but the end result is way better than stock IMHO.

So you re used part of that black clutch protector from the original handguard correct??

Yes, we re-used (and trimmed down) the plastic pieces that covered the clutch and brake lever pivots, since the pivot bolts thread into those. If you remove them completely, you'd need to come up with spacers and backing nuts to go with the pivot bolts. Some details here: www.srmoto.com/ktm-690-handguards.html
