Really difficult to find good contents on Duke390 gen3 in yt. You are doing a great job. Subscribed. Does the fuel gauge give accurate reading? Mine seems to have a lot of difficulty in giving a consistent reading. Highly unreliable. I got my tank removed to check if the level sensor is correctly calibrated, but the sensor seemed ok. The issue is even if I fill the tank up completely, the reading would show the bar not completely filled. Similarly it would show empty tank, even if there is more than reserve amount left. Also, anything that could help reduce the vibrations (mine has the most between 5-6K RPM). Mainly the tank, footpegs and handle. Balls hurt on long rides from prolonged vibrations. Mine has run for 3000km so far. Also, do you face any engine oil leakages along the bottom of the engine where the left and right casing joins?
@DipayanBoseАй бұрын
@@debopam-x5regarding fuel level indicator, you need to show it to the ASC. Seems to be the sensor issue only. Vibrations will lessen after second oil change, provided you have done a proper break-in of the engine. Try changing it early around 3500 to 4000 kms. Oil leakage is a major concern. Show it to the ASC ASAP. Ride safe

@@bestcocbaseswithlink5069 I am considering other alternatives such as de MT03 and the NK450 as well. I appreciate your comments BTW. I don't agree to you, I own the BS4 2019 Duke 390 and My brother owns the current duke 390 gen 3, the gen 3 accelerates way better and faster than my Bs4 390 duke, I guess you are trying to refrence to the BS3 390 duke, which was raw power, most of it was because the weight of that bike was just around 140+ kgs compared to today's duke. What the new duke has done us brought that first generation duke's slight acceleration and power, way better than the BS4 or BS6 models from 2017 to 2022.

How does the pull of this motorcycle comoare to speed 400? I did a test ride of duke 390 gen 3 and Speed 400 ... personally i felt the vibrations even in idle condition in duke ...but the thing is while riding the excitement makes u ignore the vibration ....but in speed 400 man the engine is smooth and it has the comparable amount of pull ....i am more inclined to speed 400......but would love hear your side of opinion for Triumph speed 400 vs ktm duke 390 vs Triumph scram 400x
@DipayanBoseАй бұрын
Yes Duke definitely is more viby than the Triumph 400`s. If you want good performance with gentleman style motorcycle, you should definitely go for the speed 4. But if you want an absolute powerhouse with the right amount of features all of which aids fine tuning the performance even more and don't mind the vibes which is more of a character than vibration, go for the duke eyes shut. in between speed 4 and scram 4, its personal preference. If you are tall enough and like tall bikes which are better for longer rides, then go for the scram 4. But if you primarily would be using it inside city, then Speed would be a better choice. Hope it helps. Thanks.

@DipayanBose17 күн бұрын
@@SeventhSonRiders yes absolutely. Engine wise no issues at 140. Wind blast could be an issue in that speed. Bike is comfortable and very stable in every terrain except off roading. However this is not a bike for touring. Hence the compact design. You would need frequent breaks. And yes fuel consumption is also an issue. From a tank of usable fuel of 10 litres, with a highway milage of 25 if ridden bellow 100 kmph in 6th gear. So again frequent visits in pumps for refuelling.

@@maek112 sorry I can’t comment on that. 10 years is a lot of time. Longevity of machines depends a lot on how well you maintain it. How you ride it. But 1 thing I can tell you, performance oriented bikes have less engine life than other bikes. In general, Honda engines are known for their reliability in the long run.
