@kstinson
@kstinson 3 жыл бұрын
I certainly agree this is good practice due to the fact the clicker wrenches do give false readings when bounced. The shock loading from bouncing causes the clicker tab to be more easily over come from users perspective letting out a audible click before reaching the desired torque value. That being said though, as others have pointed out; if the wrench is in good working order and no design flaw is present preventing it, the click tab will reset into the pivot pin. So on the next pull the wrench it will have been reset and able to obtain the proper torque value.

Nearly all XR's Die Oil Related From Cam Tunnel Failure!! No one I Know of Can Repair them, How you have Done here on the KTM, I think the Labour Costs would be Crazy Anyhow!! -Cheers for the Lesson How it's Done!!👍😉🇦🇺

Sad part of this is that the factory if to blame for the problem here. If they didn't use plastic oil pump gears the problem would've been so common. I am rebuilding my 350 for the 2nd time because the shop that did the first one used the plastic oil pump gear that was available.
