And she wasn’t arrested or held hostage which makes this accusation even more absurd and ridiculous. As a matter of fact, I’d be willing to bet you can go to a police station in the state that restricts abortion, tell them you’re going to a state that approves abortion to have it done and they would look at you like OK have a nice time! Gavin Newsom needs to worry more about what’s in his backyard, especially since the mayor of Los Angeles had her home broken into for a second time. Crime is Rampant in his state. And people need to stop watching state run media that is intended to manipulate their emotions.

Some women do, in fact, die or sustain damage if they don't get an abortion. Take, for example, my aunt. She became pregnant, and pregnancy was putting too much strain on her heart. Because of her religious beliefs, she didn't want to get an abortion. She ended up dying and taking the fetus with her. Or one of my mom' friends from high school. She got pregnant, pregnancy went wrong (not sure of the exact reasons), she still went through, complications ended with her losing her fertility and the fetus, and she never had kids of her own. Now, are all abortions done for medical reasons? No, if I remember correctly only about 15% of abortions are performed for medical reasons, but there are still plenty of women who could in fact die or sustain harm if they were not to obtain an abortion.

As a woman, I would like to say I would rejoice if my state of CA would ban forced lethal medical procedures on children (abortion)-- though I know this is extremely unlikely. Newsom should focus more on California's criminal circus free-for-all mess. As far as young teens or younger ladies getting pregnant PARENTS need to step up and teach their kids to have SELF-RESPECT. And parents would do that in a perfect world, but some children are not blessed with parents like that. Teen pregnancy isn't about lack of self respect, it's about lack of sex-ed, lack of resources and health care to prevent pregnancy, and often times adult predators. Kids with parents who cannot/will not protect them deserve options and control over their own bodies. Forcing adolescents to become young parents just perpetuates a cycle of bad parenting, foster care is often full of abuse and trauma as well. women, teens, and girls shouldn't be forced to sacrifice their futures, permanently alter or damage their bodies, or risk their lives in childbirth. Nobody should have to carry a child against their will.
