If you really like this performance of theirs, I definitely recommend checking out next their Sketchbook performance of "If I were you". They were all on top condition in that performance and you will definitely feel the emotions they gave off during that live. 2ne1 are know for their live performances because this girla have strong charisma, beautiful vocals, and they always sing live. 😊 Ps. I think Dara's soft voice perfectly balances out the three's powerful vocals, that's why their harmonies are one of my favorite thing to listen to.

Yes "if i were you" really shows another dimension to the group- the counterpoint in the last third of the song between Minzy (Dancer - well triple threat) and Park Bom ( The Vocals !!!!) is really impressive and the RAW emotion of CL ( the Rapper - another triple threat) in her vocals, just phew. Dara, as always, delivers with customary Poise. Dara had only a few lines in this particular song. CL wrote the song - and the connection she feels to it is so obvious in the Sketchbook performance. . . . .

Dara's voice is not as powerful as the 3 but this is precisely why she is in 2ne1. She is the "power-breaker". Dara has her own texture (and also distinct sound) and her solo songs after 2ne1 (mainly tracks for her movies) showcase her range. She can also sing the high notes of 2ne1 songs that just would not sound right with the other members. When Dara is not performing, all the other members kind of struggle with her parts and sometimes they have to improvize Dara's parts. Minzy's voice is the most steady and there are actually many opinion that she has the best voice among the four. Bom and CL have the most distinct sound, especially Bom. Their composer and produce used to say that you can turn Asia upside down and there would not be a voice like Bom's. CL obviously is her own powerhouse, she can do everything.

I'm subscribing because of my OG Queens 2en1! And also you recognized their vocals specially Dara the one with awesome hat. Yes her vocal is not strong but still so great and angelic if you listen to it alone she balanced and gives spice to their songs. 2en1 change kpop gg concept from just being visual, cute and sweet to badass performers with real raw talent that has great vocals, can rap and dance. 2NE1 always perform LIVE. Never once in their 7 years career they did lipsync. Fun fact CL was sick on this performance, thats why her voice lil bit shaky. It always hurts me when knowing that 2NE1 is gradually being forgot during these years. I know it’s common in KPOP industry, artists come and leave and new groups keep showing up. So I’m glad and thankful that you have interest toward them and willing to listen to their music. It’s meaningful for blackjack, or at least to me. Legends never die:)

Sandara park(with hat)= she has the sweetest voice in the group Cl (blonde)= CL THE BADDEST FEMALE park bom (black hair)= she has the most unique voice in korea MINZY (the dancer) = she has a great vocals but YG never showed that part of her before

The fact that both CL and Bom weren’t feeling well and they still killed it. And yes the Dancer (Minzy) is the one with the red hair. CL is the one with blonde hair. Dara (visual) is the one with the hat. And Bom (main vocalist) is the one with black hair.

KTwinz React ikr! they're that girl group that paved the way for this new generation and broke the stereotype of what girl group was back in the day and they're very unique. They got swag but can also act cute and sexy. Sophistication at its best. They're so versatile. I'm not exaggerating but if it wasn't for 2NE1 todays goups would not get much recognition. Dara is already a famous actress before she joined YG and when she debuted with 2NE1, they gained so much attention around the world. Even reached to America and during that time kpop wasn't even a thing in the US. YG really did them bad. They're at the peak of their career when he disbanded them without the member's knowledge.

@@hacchi2291 I think both CL and Park Bom had to visit the Hospital, all be it briefly during the day the performances ( by 2NE1 and other groups) were being taped. I remember seeing a fan-cam of them leaving the studio and then coming back still dressed in their stage clothes.

@@Skdndnsmsm nope, CL and Bom were sick at that time, both were brought to hospital before the performance and advised not to perform because CL has no voice at that time, but they insisted on performing because it was a tribute performance to the sewol victims. all of them got sick because they have no rest ( specially their voices) because they are doing their world tour concert and YG Fam con at the same time

From what I've read other commenters were correct, CL had the flu but insisted on performing as this song was part of a memorial concert for the Sewol Ferry tragedy in 2014 off the coast of S. Korea. Approx 300 perished, with a large number of students included.

This was on You Hee-yeol's Sketchbook. They did a number of their songs. Come Back Home was a song surrounding how people are trapped in their phones on the virtual, rather than the realistic.

KTwinz React i know right, hihihi the “I am the Best” lasted for 121weeks in Billboard. 2ne1 was popular then even without promoting in the USA as well as blackpink. They are also the first Girl Group had a World Tour. First World Tour “New Evolution” Tour 2012, and the 2nd World Tour was “All or Nothing” Tour 2014. The First Girl Group who had a Light Stick. 2NE1 became the first Monster Rookies. They were also featured in Americas Next Top Model Cycle 21, The Bachelor, etc. They also won MTV Iggys “Best New Band” in the world 2011 it was held in New York. You should watch their Concerts. They always perform as if it is their last.
