Your dessert looked yummy, haven't tried that yet, it looked like a firm custard or panna cota. I'm just wondering how it set and firm up so well without either using egg yolk, custard powder or gelatin. The process looked so simple and easy. But I guess the price of that cream must be expensive, almost all dairy products in Malaysia like milk, cream, cheese etc are imported.

Dear Taylor, This is my 6th week in Malaysia. During this time I have been to Langkawi, Alor Star, Penang, Butterworth, Ipoh and now I'm in KL. I visited Klang for the famous Bak Kut Teh, Batu Caves, Petaling Street, KLCC, Pavilion (both Bukit Bintang & Bukit Jalil), Jalan Alor, PJ, TRX, Merdeka 118, etc etc. The air quality is not good and the heat and humidity are just too much for me. I don't think this is the right place for me. I cannot wait to go back to NZ where I live. I need to detox after this trip.

@@andrewtaylor4558 Jill was living in Christchurch but I live in Auckland which is a lot warmer, like Florida in the US. 👍 My body can't handle the permanent warm air and humidity in Malaysia. My daily activities are thrown upside-down as my body can't adjust to the local conditions. Also I dislike the big crowds in shopping malls such as Pavilion and TRX. It's very off putting for me. I often wanted to leave as soon as I arrived as the CNY music they play is so repetitive and annoying. I much prefer the peace and quiet in NZ personally 🙏

Nice one Taylor. I think you pronounced "posset" correctly. I'm definitely going to try that recipe. Like you, I always prefer to do as much prep before my guests arrive so that I can spend more time with then, rather than in the kitchen and your dishes seemed perfect for doing that. I had a very similar salad - avocado, pomelo and greens in a simple olive oil and balsamic dressing on a recent Cathay Pacific flight which I'm going to try to copy. You might want to try the dish with pomelo instead of grapefruit too since I'm sure you can find pomelo very easily in KL. Sometimes I find grapefruit just a bit too astringent for my taste and I think pomelo is a better choice for me. Anyway, keep on doing what you're doing! Oh...what happened to your spectacles?

Great video! For your trip to Paris, France. You should visit the Chinatowns in Paris. Basilica Cathedral of Saint Denis in Paris. It is in Northern Suburbs of Paris. It is where Cornation of Kings of France were held. It is also their resting place. It seldom tour by KZbinrs! The two Chinatowns are Quartier asiatique & Belleville neighbourhood in Paris.
