Can’t speak on enduro but my old school full suspension is pretty heat and it’s had no issues.

I bought mine at the Trek Bicycle store when I bought my bike. I think they had been sitting taking up space for awhile. Love mine BTW. Especially since I got the extension.

does the lock pin rattle when driving?

I love that the rack itself doesn't rattle/rock because of the wedging mechanism against a call inside the receiver. Our 4-bike Thule (hanging, so I didn't want to use it for my new carbon fiber bike) makes so much noise when traveling.
