It's in the realm of possibilities, for sure, but it requires a much larger leap since we have no hints at all about the Moon King's wife - IF he even had one. I mean, if you look at mythologies, there is a lot of weirdo births in there. Japanese mythology specifically has one where it's like "I have a hole and you have a pole, let's put them together!" and thus the islands of Japan were born. Then there's one where Zeus had a headache, took an axe to the head to relieve the pain, and Athena popped out. So, yeah, some really bizarre things in there that make it hard to narrow things down lol

The Fangirl Some myths do say Athena has a mother - It just wasn't Hera, so she said she would leave him. But Zeus didn't want Hera to leave him so he tricked his "baby momma" into transforming into a fly - and then he ate her (as a hawk). So Athena was born in Zeus' head and her mother raised her and taught her the art of war, but all of the practicing gave Zeus a headache, and well... you know the rest. I hope you don't think I'm mocking your knowledge of Greek mythos, just thought you might wanna know.

I don´t want to speak for everyone, but in most states of Europe, you HAVE to learn English, we literally have no choice in this. With that we also HAVE to speak a second foreign language (at least in Czechia) for example, you can choose from German, French, Russian and Spanish, plus you of course still have to learn your first language. I learn German and trust me, it´s not that easy, but English in my opinion is one of the most simple languages there is. Hope this helped. :)

😂😂PLEASE READ THIS😂😂 Even though that last fact about how it’s always night in the other world because of her time with the moon king is totally possible, I think there is also another reason why it’s night. If you go watch coraline and find the scene where she first meets wybie, he tells her that if you were to go to the bottom of the well and look up, you’d see a sky full of stars in the middle of the day. This could explain why even when coraline went to the other world in the middle of the day, it’s always night. This could also mean that when coraline threw the key down the well, it just went straight back to the other mother.

According to Greek mythology when the human form of the god is killed they turn in to what they represent like how Uranus after he was kill was turned into the sky in which he represents. So Kumbo's aunt would have to have turned into what she represented not unless her animal symbol is a spider. Ok, I know they're both made by Focus and Laika but it doesn't mean they are connected just because they're producters are the same. I watched both movies like hundred times and I love them both but I think they have way different stories and way different characters from each other and they don't have a connection. Wrong. The Beldam is canonically 150 years old; if the sister was truly killed 500 years ago there is a 350 year gap. I still think these 2 movies are somehow connected though. Excellent theory though!

There's nothing that suggests the Beldam's age, only the age of the house. The book says the house is 150, and the fairy says the Beldam has had her trapped for "time beyond reckoning." Maybe fairy time is different, but that says to me that the Beldam is much older than 150. And, like I believe I mention in NorBoLine (the sequel to this theory that connects ParaNorman), the Beldam could find something to do with all that time on her hands.

Fans of his believe it like a fact, update the wiki, and suddenly everyone thinks it’s true. The only truth is what the film directly tells or shows us, everything else is up for debate. And, just a tip in case you’re in school, wiki is so often faked that some teachers will fail you for citing them as a source of information. College professors will not accept a paper that references them either, because, as long as you provide any random link and claim it as a source, wiki accepts it as a fact. Okay, now I'm curious. What happens if a non-tween discovers the portal to the Other world? What would the Other Mother do with a toddler or teenager? A toddler would be easily prey for the Beldam, but a teen? Although a teen might not be able to enter the portal similar to how adults can't.

I'm sorry to disappoint :( A lot of the bigger KZbinrs have staff to edit their videos, so they just record and the staff does the rest of the work after that. There's also the issue of me working on a computer I bought in 2011, using an editing program I bought in 2008 - I've got very dated technology, but with 3 kids, there's no budget to update as fast as I'd like to. Dear the fan girl hello there I love you coraline theories and one of them that were strikingly different is the limbo pink place and that their are two portal but if these were real I don't think she could make one and survive and here's why Now in the real world the only scientific thing it could be is a wormhole you probably know what that is but not to full extent but what this is, is a traversable wormhole which is a wormhole from one place to an other from the same or different universe now where and what the other world is something for another day but let's just say it's a pocket universe that form in the well like the theorizer size and the beldam fell in ok that's just say it could 100% happen because this is a whole different subject and the beldam decided to make a portal using wormholes into the house now let's imagine she did do it would you like to know what would happen well in going to tel you that today. So first we need to find a frame of reference to determine the size of the door so I used coraline and to find her height I looked at her in the scene when she's next to the car to see that she was slightly shorty then the car but I didn't know how much so I used coraline's age 11 to find average heights for 11 year old girls witch is 58 inches when the car is 59 due to its module and year so coraline is one inch shorter then the car then I divided her height by 2 make both the height 29 then seeing the door is slightly above the half way point so I had to divide the other half by 3 getting the height of the door at 38 inches then making a line of the width and putting it on the height size and see the missing part by dividing the bottom half of coraline by 4 then multiply that by 3 to get a width of 28.5 in and the hardest part finding the length of the portal which I did by seeing theouse jump from the first night he jumps a length of 3 2 by 4s making it a total of 6 inches and he jumped in the portal 15 times making it 90 inches then converting the height and width of the door making it the radius of the portal multiplying it by pi and 90 to find the volume of 306,055 then converting it to cubic inches then converting it to grams making it 5,000,000 grams then converting that into kilo grams which it was now 5000 kg now here's the complicated part. So let's just say inside the tunnel of your wormhole these matter and for wormholes we need negative mass and to do that we need to take it all out so for our portal we need to take the 5000 kg out but for the portal to stay up you need to take out more mass then was you started with but how you might be wondering nothing can't come from nothing and what I've learned from my good friends the game theorists that if you zoomed in on a place with absolutely nothing in it with a super mega mega microscope and you slowed down time you'd see a partical pop into existence and at the same time that partical pop into existence a negative partical pops into existence which has the exact negative property of the positive partical and as fast as they pop into existence they pop out of existence but the problem is you can't concentrate negative mass but let's say you could the more mass is needed the less time it says open because those particals like said pop in and out of existence instantly and the more negative mass you borrow from the bank of the universe the more quickly the bank of the universe wants back that negative mass so the mass of the wormhole is 5000 kg which is 2 square feet so but to make negative mass you need positive masd you have to to balance the universal checkbook so as soon as the beldam makes this portal she's exploiding 2 square footage worth of mass into to compensate and by doing she's a lot bending space-time but let's say she found a way that she didn't make an explosion the size of two square feet she still is compressing space-time and that mass at the very end at the thin space between the portal you know the thing coraline is crawling though is folding together with less space between it then a sheet of paper so those wall ad everything between it is getting smooshed together the thing is smashing atoms this close together literally smashes them together which makes fusion reaction which makes huge heat and radiation and unstoppable damage to the matter around her so there's three things that are gonna happen to her she gonna have her face melted of immediately from the HYDROGEN BOMB level explosion from the instantaneous collapse of space time or die a horrific death from radiation poisoning or die from the negative mass implications MAYBE THIS IS WHY SHE NEED THE MAGIC IF THE GHOST CHILDREN BECAUSE WITH THEM THEM SHE'D DIE FROM THE EXISTENCE OF THE PORTAL AND THE HOUSE ON THE REAK SIZE WOULD BE DESTROYER NOT ONLY BECAUSE 2 SQUARE FOOT SIZE EXPLOSION PLUS A HYDROGEN BOMB LEVEL EXPLOSION AND THE PARTS OF THE HOUSE THAT DIDN'T EXPLODE WOULD BURN IN THE PROCESS!! So I don't think she can make one very unlikely 2 this was just my theory and I hope you like it

I personally don't think the moon kings eye is blue I think he is blind in one eye because often in animation to show a character is blnd they will show their eyes like that and the brown eye is Kubo's eye

I Love this theory! but How can one of the sisters turn into the Beldam If Coraline Came first? so here's my Theory: The Beldam Finally escapes from the other world,(I don't know how.) And then meets Her twin sister. Then the twin sister told the Beldam that there is this boy named Kubo *aka One of his family members* And they wants to steal Kubo's Eye.

Here’s a nice juicy theory what if Kubos mother is the beldam and Mrs. fink and forcible are her sisters who are trying to stop her. Let’s look at the facts what kinda stuck out to me as s sore thumb and what I believe is a hole in this theory is how the beldam acts before trying to scare coraline she acts motherly. Now the sisters in kubo act like psychos because there being controlled by the grandfather (who I believe was possessed by some type of moon spirit who then moved on to kubos mom. I like to think of it as a family curse.) however what if the sisters were an illusion to there true selves I’ve determined that kubo takes place in feudal Japan in 1850ish Japan at this time period did not have a industrial revolution because of the way the feudal system worked (not going to explain this comment would then be a mile long.) the movie seemed like it was in the 1600s it wasn’t. So this spirit actually made identical evil clones of the beldams sisters to be the antagonist. Now before the mother’s death she told kubo to find the armor which would help him beat the moon king. We can see with Mrs. funk and forcible in coraline when they gave her the triangle which is exposed the truth of the other world. However none of this gear is responsible for the killings of the antagonists (when kubos g-pa smashed it and the beldam burned it) then kubo used a powerful magic of memory’s to expel the spirit I know on coraline the beldam wasn’t beat by magic because of 2 reasons coraline didn’t know magic and the only way to “break” the curse is if that person was related to the possessed person. There’s the theory tell me what you think.

If u think about it the beldam sows dolls right, she remembers a distant memory of kubo and his guitar, maybe, I don't think this is true because there is o my that counter this theorie, I'm thinking that the answer is shown already just hidden in the title, why is it coraline instead of caroline? Why did they switch it? Kubo kobu? That doesn't work as well as the other, why only two strings, if he only plays one melody, I have no idea what I'm getting here, but the answer is at the tip of my tongue, tongue! If this is all true...wow, it's deep. I mean, seriously. Would also explain why the Other Mother hates cats because if she hated her sister being in the monkey she doesn't like it when people interfere with her plans. But yeah, bugs are both mentioned in both films. In the book she dismembers the beetles legs and plays with them before eating....sounds like she had hate towards the bugs or has a very sick mind.

Could the sister/beldam's need for love come from the fact that she watched her sister find love with Hanzo, then gain a purpose in life? I mean, she gets trapped on earth, with no way back home and her purpose seems to be collecting children's eyes and getting the children to love her. hey fan girl! i really hope you read this because i have a few questions to ask your opinion on about Coraline. i have loads, but the main one is, how dose the mouse at the beginning of the movie that Coraline chases into the mouse into the other world before she has even visited it yet. How do you think that this is possible????? i completely support your pink palace limbo theory, and have watched ever single one of your Coraline theory vids and agree with them all. Just wanted to see how you think that the mouse from the other world could still come to the real world????

That's not all many people theorize that Kubo is a sequel to The Tale of Princess Kaguya so basically if it's ture that makes Kaguya, Kubo and Coraline a trilogy!
