@@BiffsEquipmentI did see that video. Where I discovered your channel was where Neal messick did the video on turning up the hydraulic pressure and put a link to your channel. @@jmailbell haha thanks man. It truely impresses me also! And just because I havnt made as many videos lately doesn’t mean I havnt been working it hard still! Haha, right on! Its an absolute travasty that they stopped putting exhaust stacks on modern sub compact, compact and even most utility tractors.. although I know why they did it.. it still sucks. I always said there should be an option when buying a tractor weather you want it with a factory exhaust stack or not. I like it cuz it lets me know exactly whats going on with my engine at a glance and isnt hidden. Thanks for watching!@

Nice job! It looks great! Thank you for showing your project and how well your Kubota BX works. I have a Kubota BX 23s and I'm impressed every time I use it with what I can accomplish in a short amount of time. I shimmed mine to 2000 psi after watching how you increased yours and it made a noticeable difference.
@BiffsEquipment6 ай бұрын
Thanks buddy! Always lad to hear when my pressure increase videos are helping people get more out of their tractors and also talking about the safety side of it as well. Brining the bx to 2000+ really makes a drastic difference in lift capacity.. I think 2,000 is a good number for most. Last I checked mine was at 2,450.. though I should make a video checking it again cuz im sure its drifted down a bit over the years.
@redmonna6 ай бұрын
@@BiffsEquipment That would be interesting if you rechecked yours. I think I could safely increase mine up to 2400 like yours. It makes me feel better you haven’t experienced any hydronic fluid leaks. With the backhoe on the back, loaded tires, and 2” wheel spacers my BX feels stable.

Haha thanks Adam! I actually hear that quite a bit. It all looks much easier on video than it actually is in person. It takes alot of hours in the seat to get so fluid and smooth with the machine and to learn how to use it for each situation so that it does exactly what you ask of it and in a timely manner. You will get there though! The best thing to do is just keep using your machine and getting hours in the seat and soon enough you’ll be able to do it blindfolded ! Best of luck.

could i accomplish everything you are doing with my older BX2350? what are the differences? i have a loader with a pin on bucket
@BiffsEquipment3 ай бұрын
Hi Andrew! Yes you sure can! A 2350 is nearly identical to my tractor.. same weight, same power, same tire size, same loader (basically), same layout.. aside from your brake pedal will be on the right .. behind the HST pedal where mine is on the left (they changed this with the 60-70 series Kubota and up.. also has the same lift capacity .. You will however want to do some upgrades if you want it to work as good as my tractor does.. for starters you want to buy at least 4x 42lb suitcase weights for the back.. or add roughly the same amount of weight to the back using an implement or other ballast. Second you’ll want to make sure you fill your rear tires with best juice if they aren’t already.. you can have this done at your local dealer.. third you will want to check your hydraulic pressure pressure by buying a rear gauge from eBay that comes with the supplied shims to test your hydraulic pressure and seeing where it’s at.. you can then add shims to the relief valve (I have about 3 different videos on how to do this) and increase your pressure to about 1800-2,000psi if it isn’t there already.. lastly you’ll want to go to your Kubota dealer and buy a skidsteer quick coupler for your front end loader (it’s worth every penny) as it allows you to connect various types of equipment and grapples and anything else to your loader while giving you the ease of removing and installing new attachments by just flipping up the locking handles and locking them back down. This is what’s on my loader only mine came with it. You can add it to your loader easily and only costs around $400-$500 last I heard. There’s other things you can do as well.. but if you watch my videos you’ll learn all the things I did and what you should do.. if you go to my channel and click on “playlists” you’ll find a playlist that says “Kubota bx upgrades and mods” there you can watch every single video I ever made upgrading my tractor.. some of it I bought and some of it I built. Hope this helps!

This question is from an old video of yours. Where is the fuel screw on a zd1211? It definatley could use 5 to 10 hp
@BiffsEquipment6 ай бұрын
So the fuel screw is normally the one which a wire going through it.. it will be a bolt with a tiny hole drilled through the hex with a wire going through it in most cases to keep people from turning or adjusting it. Not sure which direction you’ll need to turn it but you should be able to find info online about that.. or just turn it one way a little at a time and do a hard rev with the motor to see if you see any black smoke out that exhaust.. once you start seeing it smoke more and more black out thr exhaust on a quick rev then you’ll know your going the right direction.. just be sure to count how many turns you are taking that way if you need to bring it back to where it was you can. Hope this helps!

Biff- love the video and content per usual. What is it that you’ve got on the back of the tractor that adds weight? I find that using my FEL sometimes is stalled because I don’t have enough weight from the rear to power through. Would love any ideas.
@BiffsEquipment4 ай бұрын
Hey Cameron, so I use a “farm EX” quick hitch in the rear of my tractor with a custom made weight bracket.. you can buy the same type of weight bracket online tho just search “3 point hitch weight bracket”. You can also go to “heavyhitch.com and buy one from them but they are expensive. As for the weights I use mainly John Deere 42lb suitcase weights that are cheapest to buy from Home Depot. Go on Home Depot.com and search “John Deere suitcase weight” or John Deere 42lb weight” ..once you find them you can have them shipped for free to any store which saves you hundreds on shipping and then you just pay for the weights themselves when you get there. If you buy them from anywhere else online you have to pay shipping costs and it’s expensive. I run 8x 42lb weights but that’s because I have my hydraulic pressure cranked to the max. If you have stock hydraulic pressure then you should be able to get away with having just 4 weights for now.. and I’d recommend filling your rear tires with beat juice if they aren’t already. Best of luck!

It should be removed but I just never feel like doing it haha.
