Kubota BX Increasing the Hydraulic Pressure

Nice job Jason, I found that 2,000psi is generally a good place to be for most users.. you get a pretty generous power increase yet your not having to worry about bending the loader or blowing out a cylinder seal.. Iv got mine cranked to 2400psi tho and Iv yet to break something.. maybe this summer 😅

You are going to love the extra capacity. Add a ssqa adapter and third function and it will be very capable and versatile. Did it to mine and I love it.

For sure. Now the last two videos are all tied together. I was running into break-out force issues being too low, so I hope this helps with that. For lifting, I could already pretty well lift anything I could fit in the bucket. Take Care Luc and have a great weekend.

Yeah, almost not worthy of a video it was so easy. I had a little issue with the one camera not recording. I thought about re-filming the entire episode, but didn't. Do you like my thumbnail? That is hours of photo editing. haha

I really think these tractors are built well enough for 200 psi increase, but Kubota holds them back because of being tippy. I mainly wanted the increase pressure for bucket curl as I have had times pushing into a rock pile I couldn't get it to rack back. Lift has never been an issue with a struck off bucket of rock. I could see with a backhoe where the increase in pressure could be a big benefit. I don't think I have read or seen where anyone has broken their backhoe on a BX. Thanks for watching, Jason

Thank you for a great vidio. I've got a question that I hope doesn't get me ridiculed, Will raising the pressure effect the mower deck as far as the RPM of the blades??

It shouldn't. Increasing hydraulic pressure does not impact the mechanical transmission which includes both the mid and/or rear PTO.
