Just signed the deal on one of these today. Have to say as a novice to tractors I find your videos very informative. And you're presentation is not only educational but engaging. Great job man.

I had one of these for over 8 years. Other than rubbing a hose on the frame and an adjustment to a safety switch, this machine has been flawless. Easiest starting engine I have ever seen.

Ive had a BX2350 since 2008. Tortured the thing but never broken it. I didn't expect it to be as tough as it is but I'm very happy it is.I have a 54" mid mount mower that I mow 1 1/2 acres with, a loader that I use all year long. I probably attach and un-attach the loader 20 times a year. I have a 48" back blade and a 48" tiller. This tractor handles the tiller with no problem. I do my food plots and gardens and two of my friends food plots. It fits on my 6x12 single axle trailer. Couldn't be without it.

This is an excellent video for learning this tractor! I’m sending it to my wife so she can learn it also. This should be considered the video manual! Thanks for your hard work on this!

Thanks for the video! My dealer did go over everything, but it is my first yard tractor on steroids, so it certainly helps to see the video. You do a great job! I bought the BX2380 with fel, & weight ballast. I'm sure I'll be buying more attachments

Thank you Messicks! Fantastic very helpful video about overall info and operation. Just one suggestion: in the front loader video I think it would be very helpful to include the "float position" and how and why the float position is used. I know people that have tractors and don't even know that there is a float position.

maybe you covered this, can you put a drive over mid mount mower on a BX25D-1? in other words can you have the loader, mid mower, and backhoe on the tractor at the same time? thank you.

Yes you can.

I enjoyed this video. The only point I would disagree with pertains to the maintenance of the BX-25. It was stated in the video that it was easy. Personally, I found that adjusting the fan belt and changing the anti-freeze are major pains. Perhaps Messick has some tips to lessen the pain.

I have a question about the BX25D with the hydrastatic transmission. There is one guy from Canada who received questions about that particular tractor model, and the unit still moving after the foot is removed from the pedal. He showed what happened with the tractor he showed and it did that. I don't own a Kubota, but is wondering about that problem, and wondering if the company was fixing the tractors with that problem, or the dealership is suppose to fix it.
@MessicksEquip7 жыл бұрын
There are several causes of HST tractors coasting, its not an uncommon thing on mechanical hydros. Generally it can be adjusted out by changing the return spring or making sure all the linkage is well greased. Kubota does not have an army of guys running around with wrenches, they build them, dealers fix them when then break.

I'm looking at a used Kubota BX 25D the backhoe it does not have the thumb on it, can it be added on to it and if so would you know the price of it? Great job!

What is your opinion of a Massey Ferguson GC1710 or GC2410? I am looking to buy one and put a 60" snowblower attachment on it and "maybe" do some light loader work. I looked at a Kubota BX25 which is nice. No Mahindra or JD for me
@MessicksEquip7 жыл бұрын
I've never seen one before. As I understand its an Iseki tractor. My biggest concern is always long term support when the retailer is not the company building the tractor.
@ragingbullhcwf7 жыл бұрын
How does a New Holland Boomer compare to Kubota or even a Kioti?
@MessicksEquip7 жыл бұрын
New Holland does not currently make a subcompact. They sold their tractor to Daedong\Kioti. We we sold it at the time as we are a New Holland dealer. Its okay, but at this point its showing its age. While Kubota is in their 6th generation of subcompacts this series only ever really received one face-lift.
@kdegraa4 жыл бұрын
Messick's Iseki and Massey Ferguson are owned by Agco. I’m not really sure how they work out what is an Iseki or a Massey. In Australia they are brands here for the long run.
@MessicksEquip4 жыл бұрын
Distribution agreements, not ownership. Things change. CNH had the same relationship for their compacts and it fell apart

The BX 25D does the D mean it's a diesel or does it mean it comes with a factory installed back-ho? I had somebody tell me the D means that it comes with the factory installed back-ho. And what is the difference between a BX 25D and a BX 25D -1? Thank you.
@MessicksEquip8 жыл бұрын
neither of those things. All the BX2# series tractors come with a backhoe. 'D' is just a random letter they decided to add to the end to denote changes from the prior BX25 model. The next tractor in the series will be BX23S. I can't explain that one. Seems like they just pick numbers out of the air sometimes.

Thank you. I am thinking of buying a Kubota for my 10 acres home. I can rent a BX25 from Home Depot. My question is if I learn to operate the BX25 can I then operate a little bigger Kubota like 30HP?
@MessicksEquip8 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. There are small differences from one tractor to the next, but the basics of the controls and operation techniques are very similar from one machine to the next.
