When I purchase my LX3310 around 23 months ago now I immediately added this option cause I do remove my loader 3-4 times a week depending on what I'm doing and mowing 18 acres I have to switch to mower a lot so the loader as to come off. I now got 865 hours on my LX3310 and I must've remove the loader 200 + times if not more, I have the open cab and I can count on one hand the amount of times I've actually had to get off the seat to remove my loader, it as work for me every time so far and I've never had a leak yet. Like Neil mention the Cab option in my opinion wouldn't work as smooth so if you want a cab and don't actually take the loader off that often than I'm not sure that option would be worth it..... But to all are preferences :)

Looks like you've got a hydraulic leak where the flex hoses join the hardlines on the loader

I like the idea and use it often - but have experienced the slight leak known problem on my BX series tractor. That being said, when putting the loader back on I am now much more careful to ensure all the pressure is relieved off the tractor side of the manifold and ensure I am pushing the loader side of the manifold directly straight down as I use the leaver to lock the hydraulics in place. Simple fix for Kubota - put a bit beefier castings on both side of the manifold, so no flex will occur.

We have this on our LX2610. It’s the one thing we ordered on our tractor that I wish we hadn’t. We just don’t ever remove the loader. The hydraulic attach/detach is kind of cool, but the parking stand and related is just not all that great, IMO.

I agree 100%, I have it on my LX2610 and I hate it mostly because of the parking stand set up.

Anther great video Neil. Very cool option for someone who needs quick removal of their loader.

It is a great convenience, but when you have Grand L like mine with 8 set of hoses, the Kubota dealer talked me out of a third party quick coupler conector. They told me with that many hoses thatcit would be a challenge to reconnect. Honestly, on these medium to larger compacts, you may just want to keep the loader on ànd just not put on a front end attachment when doing work with the 3 point hitch.

$ Parts Neil! You need to mention that you should have an attachment on the loader to keep it balanced???

Not a fan of this set-up. 40 hours in and one of the fittings started leaking, probably due to wear in that curved portion of the lever. Most things I read stated Kubota would cover repair/replacing this under warranty, but the problem would repeat another 40-50 hours in (more or less depending on how often you hook/unhook). I remove mine every time I mow, so as often as once per week during peak mowing season. I got rid of the lever and went with four separate parker fittings. Not that big of a deal to hook/unhook and more importantly, there is positive connection as opposed to just a compression fit with the gang fitting/lever set up. No more leaks. Cost effective if you're able and willing to do the work yourself.

It looks like that quick coupler is located in the same place as a 3rd function. Does this take up the 3rd function spot?

Neil ... It looks like that tractor has a 3rd function but didn't see you release it ... If I remember correctly, 3rd function isn't included in the manifold... Correct?

Not according to the sales brochure. It does have a rear hydraulic port, but there's no mention of front hydraulics. It looks like the blade does require 3rd function hydraulics, but the hoses are just draped over the front of the bucket.

In the video you have a snow plow on the loader rather than the bucket....I wonder if I could take the loader off my Kubota BX2680 if I have the pallet forks installed on the loader rather than the bucket? I use the pallet forks to bring my mid mount mower deck over to my carport to install it on the tractor and then take it back to its storage spot when I'm through with it, so the pallet works are on most of the time anyhow....I have to go back and take the forks off, and put the bucket back on, then take the loader off...wasting time it seems like, if I could just leave the forks on the loader when I remove it, it would save having to swap between the bucket and forks....have you tried leaving the forks on rather than the bucket? Curious if it would work, or if it would damage something by doing so.

forks just need to be heavy enough. Can't tell you without trying.

Great video! I personally stay away from the swift tach, as all the leakage issues and loader dismounting while in use on the Facebook forums. Has Kubota addressed these issues?

mostly. The one used on the larger tractors is not the same as the BX.
