I'm still firm on my idea of Deimos deliberately letting himself be captured. He attacks Emerald Plains with just five guys? Deimos goes in knowing Rainbow wants answers, and knows that they wouldn't kill him on sight, and his men are expendable. I figured, Deimos knows what Rainbow will do, move him to another black site for interrogation. Since he has a small drone, his men would use that drone to find this site. I figure that Deimos's captured would draw a lot of operators to this site to get revenge for Harry. A bunch of operators at one spot, Deimos's army can deliver a heavy blow by taking them out. Also, drawing operators away from other ops and locations will leave those areas vulnerable to attack by Deimos's men.

I believe that once Wolfguard was put together, Harry saw it as a chance for Doc and Lion to get used to talking to each other again. Now it seems that Doc has probably made Lion his second in command of you look back at the Vector Glare cinematic where Lion led the ground team to find the architect. Plus one of Lion’s quotes in the VG battle pass said he trusts Doc to take care of his son if something happened to him. Nice to see my favorite operators are on good terms again

Hibana mentions that they need a Six in Deimos bio. Since Ubisoft has been sprinkling little Easter Eggs to older Rainbow Six games, I've got two theories for what will happen this year. Next season with the Recruit rework, I think we might get a new Six, who I think might be Ding Chavez, or Bishop. They'll come in, reorganize Rainbow, and get them ready for action. Then in Season 3, since we are getting a Greek operator, I think it might be Kure Galanos, who was in the first 3 Rainbow Six games as well. My theory is, Ding comes back, reorganizes Rainbow and recruits many new members, one of whom is Kure, who he's hoping will help Rainbow with her experience.

Before we knew deimos’ identity my theory was that Deimos was bishop who after the events of R6 Vegas 2 and future ops as a rainbow squad leader (don’t remember their actual rank) would eventually turn rogue against rainbow after an op gone wrong or he learned a secret about rainbow that they (meaning new rainbow) don’t know of that revealed a dark truth about the organization’s history and plans to destroy it and rebuild it as something new

This season is singlehandedly making me deeply invested in siege/Rainbow lore. My theory is going to be that Blackbeard's shield will be mounted on his arm instead of his gun, so he'll be able to quickly hold it up for extra protection, but he won't be able to shoot with it. It won't be as protective as a shield operator, but it will be more mobile and dynamic as well as allowing him to use a primary.

I think Blackbeard may get a Rook style deployable that’s team wide rather than individually to him. Hence why Mira asking for a box of his rifle shields. I think shifting the power of him from being a frag-or-fail operator to a supportive attacker that allows the attacking team balances him out as a character. A full shield rework completely changes his play style and alienates previous mains/players from him.

I think story wise for team rainbow and Nighthaeven will have that “we’re not so different” relationship and they’ll be closer in the future. Deimos will definitely escape maybe like bane style in the Batman films but he will escape. Story wise this is perfect because we will have more of that shift that’s already brewing. We see people getting mad already by him being alive despite his capture and people defending the fact they need him alive. I think we will have the government talk to rainbow for having Deimos escape which leads to the plot of “rainbow will be disbanded” and Nightheaven will pick up the slack. I think a future operator that will be introduced will be a right hand man for Deimos that will help with the escape of Deimos. Deimos is smart and strong but he doesn’t seem foolish enough to work alone(I know he doesn’t but you get what I mean)

I have 2 hopes for the future of Rainbow Six Siege. Whether Thermite becomes the new 6 or not (I personally think he'll stay as a tactical commander), I would love to see Logan Keller (Rainbow Six Vegas) and / or Bishop (Rainbow Six Vegas 2) be brought back into Rainbow to help get the organization back on track and counter the current Keres issues. I imagine Deimos would also respect these 2 guys a lot and be more willing to cooperate with them there. If that doesn't happen, I think it would be awesome if a new future operator was a Ghost. We got tons of R6 crossovers into the Ghost Recon games, but not the other way around. And considering Ghosts are the best of the best, even Deimos would have to be worried if Rainbow had Ghosts assisting them. And I mean bring that mf in with Future Soldier type gear. Identity completely hidden and redacted.
