Bella pagina di musica , nella quale il fagotto , il flauto e l'oboe hanno un'importanza notevole: dialogano, creando anche effetti di eco , come si addice ad una grotta. Non raggiunge vertici altissimi , ma è piacevole e dimostra la capacità d grande compositore , quale fu Antonio Salieri.

Who is believable? Another comment below Salieri's 26 version of LA folia was that his music was not even worth keeping in archives! Whatever may be the laughable comments from the "insignificant pundits" Salieri continues to give pleasure to both my ears.

Cantabile is my most favourite in La grotta di Trofonio, music of Salieri is simple and has his own hamony and very great balance compare to Mozart, who has more complex, detail and revolution which evolution to music of God. When Mozart is a great great composer, Salieri is a great great teacher.

Harmoniemusik was an important aristocratic convention of the late 18th/early 19th centuries. Do you like an opera from this time period? Well, it probably has a harmoniemusik arrangement.
