yes, I recommend the S10 laser engraver even for beginners. It is easy to use. It supports Lightburn (paid) and LaserGRBL (free) programs.

No diode laser in the 455nm wavelength will cut clear acrylic. It's not a matter of power with this wavelength of light, it's a matter of the visible light passing through it.

so should the reviews, based on true evidence and then perhaps seasoned by the impressions of the reviewer; but a note I have to do: making the laser work WITHOUT the shielding bulkhead is a bad message, because beginners may think it is normal to do so and in the meantime those glasses that are supplied, being poor, do not protect their eyes and even less eyes of other living beings that happen around while the engraver is in operation. --- these contraptions are dangerous
