Pranams... Please have a look. The word ‘Nandana’ has 7 different meanings in Sanskrit. In this song, the word ‘Nandana’ is used in two different ways. ‘Dasaratha Nandana’ - Dasaratha’s son, and ‘Mythili Nandana’ - one who gladdens Maa Sita! This is similar to the usage of homonyms in English language. In Bhaja Govindam, Adi Sankara has used this word in a similar context - ‘Nandati, Nandati...
