Kung Fu Butterfly Knives - Reverse Grip Techniques 蝴蝶双刀 - Choy Li Fut Kung Fu

In this video we look at the practical usage of the Butterfly Knives in the reverse grip position. It all comes down to range, don't flip them over just to look cool, flip them for the advantage of being too close to get a good swing in with the regular grip position. A great way to exercise this and understand the distance is to work on a heavy bag with elbow strikes, then find a corner and play with your distances; moving in and flipping them for attacking, then moving back and flipping them for the regular grip and long range position.
