I loved the movie! My favorite character was Po and my favorite seen was when at the end where Tai Lau couldn't do his freezing move on Po and it became clear that what made the others think he didn't belong was actually a much needed strength to defeat Tai Lau. What scene is your favorite?

23:38-23:50 Can you blame him? Shifu raised him to be the dragon warrior only for it to not to be. Let's assume Tai-Lung is 40. He spent 20 in years training to become the dragon warrior, was told it was never ment to be and his father, who did this to him, didn't even attempt to do anything about it. When Tai-Lung was beating Shifu with literal fist of fire, what he said was really all he wanted. To make Shifu proud, now that that no longer means anything to him, the dragon scroll was all that was left for him. We know how that turned out.😅

Loved the reaction My favorite character is Tai Lung in this one. The thing is I think Tai Lung is pretty much the victim here aswell. Shifu kept telling him that he would be the Dragon Warrior, that he is the one, that he went the distance for Shifu because Shifu kept telling Tai Lung he would be the Dragon Warrior. To him ultimately hearing that it was for nothing. Because it wasn’t Shifu’s decision to make but Oogway. His descent into becoming a villain could have been stopped if 2 things changed: 1. Shifu not constantly claiming he would be the next Dragon Warrior 2. Had Oogway just this once, just explained in simple way to Tai Lung that why he wouldn’t be the next Dragon Warrior instead of his usual vagueness. Because it was clear that Po’s explanation went over Tai Lung’s head.
@Sessis Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for telling me you liked it 😃 Oh yeah you’re right it couldn’t have been easy to be trained from such a young age and thinking you’d eventually get the to be the Dragon Warrior and not get it. Good lesson though that one should try do things because you enjoy it and not be to preoccupied with a specific result. Agree it would have been much nicer if they had explained to Tai Lung why he couldn’t be the Dragon Warrior. He was kinda set up to fail in a way

he might have been spoiled by shifu, and oogway had to rain on the parade.... but how we deal with rejection, and being denied is a great part of what kind of person we are... and in this oogway was right... if tai lung would have gotten the scroll, it would have been some other incident, where he would have shown his true character and turned evil... if not at the moment he looked at the dragon scroll... Po was like, ok then it was all a fairytale, sad but ok with it... try to imagine tai lung´s reaction to it... and remember, he went on a killing spree even against his almost-father, just because he did not get what he wanted... he would have ended as villain either way...
@JamailvanWestering Жыл бұрын
@@Metzwerg74 he went on a rampage because Shifu filled his head with lies. He even says all that I did was for you. Shifu knew he didn’t have a say in the matter and yet continued to fulfill his head with false promises. Had Shifu been honest or Oogway not set in his ways of how to teach things. Tai Lung would not have ended up the way he has. Oogway never explained to Tai Lung why he wouldn’t be The Dragon Warrior.
@Metzwerg74 Жыл бұрын
@@JamailvanWestering his reaction still shows oogway was right... a good person would have dealt with that, in a appropriate way not by letting his frustration out on everyone else... he could have reconsidered what brought this denial on him and adapted... but he choose violence... and it was easier to blame others, than to look in yourself.... and tai lung was proud of his skill even before shifu trained him... yes shifu spoiled him... but it´s too easy, to just blame the father(of sorts)... and did tai lung ask oogway why he denied the scroll...? noo direct into spoiled brat got denied mode.... and another difference, he wanted the scroll to get more powerful... what for? he already was almost unbeatable.... it´s like saying the murderer that shot 20 people, isn´t so bad, because he had an aweful father....

I love the kung fu panda franchise so much, and tai lung is my favorite character. But he’s also my favorite character because of how much I relate to him. He spent his whole life trying to get the dragon scroll not only because he wanted it, but because shifu (who is basically his parental figure) wanted it for him too and implanted those dreams into him ever since he was a kid. And when tai lung finally thought it was going to be enough, oogway said no and tai lung got upset that shifu didn’t even try to talk to him or oogway, he just did what he said. And then imagine the torture of being in prision for 20 years, completely paralyzed, and not even a visit from shifu and after he was set free he had plenty of pent up rage and feelings of abandonment. Basically im just saying that I relate to him being so upset over not getting the scroll, because as a burnout gifted kid I know what it’s like to think all your hard work is going to finally be enough but it ends up to be all for nothing. It’s literally the most soul crushing feeling in the world 😭

Some channels get a huge jump in subscribers based on the type of movies they react to for example Lords of the RIng. Or partner up with someone who already has a large subscriber base and collaborate with him/her on a movie you two have not seen yet. An excellent first start for a reaction video, both subject and execution. Some personal favorites in the animated realm: The Iron Giant is an all-time classic that Warner Brothers failed miserably at marketing. Megamind came out at about the same time as Despicable Me and was overshadowed, but I think was superior. Lilo & Stitch is my favorite Disney film, with Mulan a close second. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has rewritten the rules for animated superhero fare. Studio Ghibli’s Spirited Away is a quiet but brilliant film. It’s hard to go wrong with anything by Pixar, but Wall-E, Up, and Finding Nemo are particularly great.

A very lively and adorable reaction by such a lovely lady! I'll keep an eye on this channel. I discover this channel right at the start of film reaction video! And boy you sure began with a bang: Kung fu panda! Dreamworks doesn't always nail it, but you can be sure when it does, it reaches exquisite excellence at highest Disney's level. Kung fu panda's saga is one of the most accurate depiction of this; if you want to know more about the magic-like abilities, you'll have to wait for the third movie though. If you want some tips in the Dreamworks department, there are: -Shrek saga and 2 Puss in boots spin-offs (the second one is 👌). -How to train your dragon trilogy. -Rise of the guardians. The underrated masterpiece. -The bad guys. One of the most recent. -Megamind. A twist in the super hero tropes. Hope you'll have a blast. ;)

What I love about Po’s journey to becoming the Dragon Warrior through all 3 movies is that he learns to master all aspects (physical, mental, and spiritual) of Kung Fu. I can’t wait for the sequel reactions! I want to recommend another panda movie that is seriously amazing and underrated, The Amazing Panda Adventure starring Stephan Lang (Colonel Miles Quaritch from Avatar). 🐼🐲👊🏻🧠❤️

Tai Long story is so sad, he was not entitled he was what he thought he deserved. Imagine spending your whole life training having potential and because one turtle said no your finished 😂
@Sessis Жыл бұрын
I think that just the issue, even though he spent so much time training there was never a guarantee that he’d be eligible for it. It most have been very disappointing though and I think one can definitely question how he was trained and from such a young age without seemingly any conversations about a plan b. Being the dragon warrior wasn’t just about training and being the best. Maybe even his inability to emotionally regulate from hearing a no is what made him not suitable?
@JakkFrost1 Жыл бұрын
I mean, that's what entitled means, thinking he deserved it. But as with most entitled people, especially in this "everyone is special" era, the entitlement was instilled in him by his parental figure, who didn't properly prepare him for the possibility of disappointment.

@@federicocarnebale no worries brother, your English is still better than many native English speakers. ✌😁 Also, entitled and egocentric aren't the same thing, but they often go together.
