@@NAME-mz7vl yes In the manga Its in a fake world made from shijima mei(the fourth of the. seven wonders) Kou and yashiro are suppose to kill hanako and mitsuba to go back to the real world, kou killed mitsuba but also killed himself, but they were saved due to soft landing from a bush (Ok this is all you get)

The presentation of a photo reel is such a great premise for Mitsuba and Kou video! It was so heartwarming seeing all the little moments they shared, and it's appropriately meta with how Kou later is looking through the photos Mitsuba took... 😢 I also found the staticness of the images to make the animation more meaningful; it looks really great whenever animation pops up! Notably the part where Tsukasa came in; wow! That was amazingly done with the timing on the song. (I may or may not have gasped out loud, hahaha.)

It hits you even harder when you realize that in the show/manga, right after Mitsuba died 'died' to Tsukasaa, Kou muttered "...more." He kept asking and wondering if he could have done more, something he could have done or should have done. Which perfectly coincides with the part of the song in this animatic "motto."

The fact that Kou deeply cared for Mitsuba makes me sad. I love them both and how quickly their friendship fell apart because Tsukasa "granted" Mitsuba's wish of having friends was truely unforgettable. It was so sad when at the end of the episode, Kou had Mitsuba's camera and was going through the photos and he found out what Mi really took a picture of on the rooftop.

The fact that Mi said 'something thats become really important to me lately' when Kou asked him what he took a picture of. I truely believe they both deserved so much more. Mitsubas death in the manga was a horrible scare, even if i havent read the manga yet. And poor Kou only has de@d friends :( he deserves so much

Has anyone else ever thought about the fact that since Kou is alive he'll age but Mitsuba won't because he's dead. So when u think about it.... they couldn't be an actual couple forever. Same goes with Amane and Yashiro. I know this, yet I still ship it.

I must really say the story-boarding, the drawing, the coloring, every single detail in here is amazing especially how you make it look like a film as if their lives are playing right in front of you. The song choice is really fitting (one of my fave too!) the starting seems dreamlike! So cheerful, it shows their interactions like teasing and hanging out it gives a really light feeling and slowly as it progresses to the ending, it gets duller and shows the sad reality where Tsukasa comes in and the films seems crooked like it is messed up. I really love what you did and the mini animations and references to the manga, their friendships... it hits. Wait forget it... THIS SLAPS HARD.
