"that being not enough", it lacks starters and good searchers. The searchers we have right now aren't bad, they just need set up, while every other deck has multiple ROTA's without any costs. Take Despia for example they have a Quick-play which either summons or adds a guy, a Stratos and a guy which can search if it's banished/sent to the gy which also recycles stuff. None of them really need set up, tragedy is the "hardest" search to get off, but even he can be easily triggered by poly, gold sarc, branded fusion or alurre. And that's just one of many examples.

im surprised you didnt mention that photon emperor is the perfect monarch card it has monarch stats, can be search, summoned, special summoned and enable monarchs in monarchs, it lets you normal summon edea after you summon it, (which is a free summon from trade-in). AND lets you summon another monarch after you summon it. it enables monarchs erupt, it can be added back off of erebus. its literally more of a monarch card than a photon card. the craziest thing is it enables photon cards to be used in monarchs, like expedition to get another one out

Me personally I'm split. The new lv 4 is just a better galaxy knight...no one really is gonna use the kuriboh,the new numeron support card, or probably the trap since activating galaxy hundred from the deck on the opponents turn doesn't really do anything for us. The rank 4 is cool, the c62 basically just does the same thing as 62 though it is nice to be unaffected by monster effects(though 62 was always a choke point they pop it when it's summoned before I can detach afterglow so now they'll just pop it when it's summoned to stop from ranking up so same results). I don't think this made the deck too much better overall it's issue wasn't extenders, and even these extenders have the same issue as the existing ones with you already needed set up in the grave or a specific card already in hand. Hopefully this isn't the only wave of support 8 cards isn't really a lot especially when 1 doesn't even directly count as a part of their archtype (the numeron card) if this is it, for a photon named set, I'm disappointed and I don't think the deck got better

Tbf if you’re playing galaxy eyes your goal shouldn’t be to have an end board in the first place (and if you do have to end on *any* board then you might as well just scoop), your goal should be to finish the duel on the second turn with an otk from the usual prime + afterglow combo. Konami not thinking about how we have to deal with being forced to go first if we lose the coin flip/rps/dice roll *is* a major problem and they should definitely address it. This support is nice but if we don’t have anything to help us survive going first then what support did we really gain?

Meh, the boards in current are pretty mediocre anyways. Neither Splight nor Tear end on oppressive boards decks like Ada or INK used to end on. Tachyon Transmigration, Hope Harbinger, Photon Lord and Solflare is a decent end board. The problem is everything related to Galaxy being passable at best. They don't have the infinite consistency decks like Splight have, they don't have the resilience that decks like Tear have nor do they have the ceiling of P.U.N.K. or Dragon Link decks. They are just meh at everything they do.
