Kurt: "Can you curse on here?" Mikey: "Yep." Kurt: "#?*!" LOL! Kurt has really matured. Glad for him and his wife.

This was a really great interview, Kurt gave some great insight of how he is thinking of how he puts a car into a place to give him the best outcome...Kurt has definitely been on a roller coaster career. I thought I'd never pull for Kurt, but last few years the man has really made a change for the best!!!

I think Kurt always brings up great stories. I've really started to respect him more vs 10+ years ago when he was NASCAR's most hated driver at the time...before his brother took over that role lol

Problem is, Kurt's history is that just when we think he's finally matured he does something incredibly stupid. Hopefully, it's the real deal this time.

@@ericteneyck8691 What? Kurt is actually funny when he's mad. It's not even close how his brother acts when he's mad.
@ericteneyck86915 жыл бұрын
Run Ronaldo Run #THEBESTINTHEWORLD not talking about when he’s mad, those are funny, so unashamedly self serving comments that he says after races are great. I’m talking about his off track antics, run ins with the cops and other legal issues. Just seems like every few years he is involved in some scandal that was a result of some poor decision he’s made. I really hope that’s behind us. His talent isn’t even a question for me.

Following the '02 season and the last real season for the #28 (first driver I picked to follow in Nascar was Davey Allison & I stuck with the car for another 14 years) I needed a new driver to follow. I'd always followed a Ford and wanted to stay allegiant and I really liked the fire Kurt had behind the wheel. I've rooted for no one but Kurt since the Daytona 500 in '03 and am proud to say that I stuck with him through ALL of his highs and lows. Kurt is a true racer. A top notch wheelman and these days, a philanthropist and mentor. It'll be a sad day for me when he retires, but I'll always have the memories of epic battles and triumphant victories. From the #97 to the #2 to the #22 to the #51 to the #78 to the #41 & to the #1 it's been a helluva ride. Thanks for everything, Kurt. It's been an entertaining 17 years. 🏁👍

Lucky for you they implemented The Chase that year. Under the old points system Gordon wins the Championship. As he would've in 2007 and 2014. Giving him 7. I hate the chase and everything Nascar has become. Exactly why there's nobody in the stands anymore...
@mulehead36974 жыл бұрын
Chris Shockey should’ve would’ve could’ve maybe so. There isn’t no telling how many times I would’ve been a millionaire but that guy before me bought the winning lottery ticket every time. All I can say for sure is he beat them in 2004 For the cup championship.
@chrisshockey58454 жыл бұрын
@@mulehead3697 there's actually a website you can visit that calculates who would've been champion under the old system and Gordon would've won it '04, '07 and '14 which would've given him 7. I'm not making it up. It's actually a pretty cool site. Jayski racing is the site. Precious Jimmie would only have 4 . He never won one under the old system...

I’d like to see Kurt get @ least 1 more Championship before he retires, which could be coming pretty soon or he could race well over another decade with his wheel talents. Be dope to see him get 2 more , 1 in the next 2-3 years and then a walk-off in about 11 years. That would be cool Even if he gets 1 more in a few years and walks it off as a 2x Champion , that would be pretty cool too, other than I hope he races more than another decade @ least. Him & his brother can go another 20years and be those last connections to the days of Dale.

Dude... Kurt would have been perfect in a Childress ride back then. He’d have fit that roll perfect. Not the team they have now , he’s better than. But it wouldn’t be a bad look, he’d be their best driver & face of Childress Racing. RC definitely made a bad call on that 1 , he should have signed Kurt. He’d look a lot better to have brought that 3 back in than RC’s overrated nephew.
