I was at this show. I remember telling my friend he messed up just as he started to say it. I recall the crowd being difficult that night and he made a couple comments about it. I really wish it was video recorded so I could relive it. I remember at the end when they were wrecking everything he went to throw his guitar into the air and slipped on water or something that was thrown on the stage. I just turned 15 and had it not been Veterans day the next day and being off from school I don't think I would have been able to go. One of my best memories is that night.

Kurt was not this untalented, lazy guy. He just portrayed himself that way, everything was carefully planned and thought out. He wouldn’t have made it so big if he really was. He was very artistic and business savvy. He just didn’t want to show that side to the public for obvious reasons. He had an image to uphold as this punk rocker who didn’t care about his image and didn’t want fame. But fame doesn’t just come outta no where. He toured relentlessly to get as big as he was in the early 90s.

I think the biggest lie Kurt ever sold the world was that he didn’t care for musicianship, he clearly cared about the timings the way the music sounded, he from every account there is was a perfectionist, wonder if that was the kinda stuff that he hated towards the end having to try and fit the image that they portrayed as him.
