I wouldn’t touch it, it’s in permanent marker but it’s still possible so I would steer clear. If you want a list of best practices, I have those labeled on my website.

Purchased a kit to work on a bowman chrome Ohtani, has the lines down the middle.

Use the card polish. If it's a light abrasion, you should be able to remove it. If it's scratched in the card, it's just gonna be a permanent issue. But try card polish on every single issue like this you see

Can this product be used on paper cards such as Panini Donruss cards? I know prism, mosaic, but what about Donruss which doesn't seem to have the same wax surface? Any feedback is appreciated

You can clean most cards. It just requires a little little bit of a different technique. But with modern Donuss Cards they still have a plastic clearcoat on the front so they can be polished or cleaned if dirty. You have to be careful on the back of some of them because they have a paper finish.

Hey there. It will be a solid. Use your applicator to gently go around it to wake it up.

Just curious though Do you light polish all the cards with holo/reflective surfaces If you’re submitting them to grade? I’d imagine it’s not a bad idea, light polish, wipe it off quickly Just to give it a little extra minty touch But I also can imagine a scenario, where you would think, “a polish doesn’t seem necessary here.”

You can use the straw and a penny sleeve to add a bit of humidity to the card using your breath.

Hey Kurt, might be a dumb question but does the kit work on tickets too? I have 2 Super Bowl tickets from Brady’s early years that aren’t in the best shape.

I couldn’t be sure, there are so many different types of tickets. I would be afraid that you could cause damage with the spray or polish. Cards are just different materials. But I do think you could use the card tool to work on edges and corners and stuff like that. If I was going to work on a ticket, I would try to get a cheap non-important ticket made out of the same material to do some tests on.

Thanks for asking, many of my customers are 100% Pokémon and always let me know my products work great for them. I’ve cleaned up probably 50+ Pokémon cards personally. Usually the card polish is all it takes. As always, practice on a base version first. I would never want you to make a mistake. It’s definitely not complicated, but it can make a nice difference on a dirty card or card with light blemishes. ✌🏼

Hi Kurt, I bought this product and have been using it to take indents out of my TCG cards with much success. Thank you! I recently tried using the card spray to take a little bit of dirt off some modern Pokemon (SV era and Celebrations cards) and both of them the edges started to swell up and some additional whitening occurred. Did I do something wrong? I was reading your polish best practices and it sounded like it was safe to use. Please let me know!

Did you spray it directly on the card? If so he highly recommends you don’t do that in other videos. He suggests spraying it onto something and then use a cotton round to lightly dab it up, then ring it out. He also includes a straw so you can blow on any grimy areas so that you can lift up the dirt with humidity. Then you can use the cotton rounds to take off the blemish.

It can, it takes a little bit, but you can do it. If you ever have unwanted ink on the back of my card or something like that, you can remove it.

@@brendanmccune Great question. I ususally use spray first if the card is dirty. It will remove dirt/substances. Then polish it up to finish. But you can go back and forth, no issue :)
