This was a rough video to sit through Kurt. I can only imagine how you must have felt killing the pig. It must have felt powerful being around this tribe but surreal knowing that you’re a foreigner. This channel has opened my eyes to just how different people live around the world. The real world. In the west, in Europe and much of the Americas, we are so lucky to walk into a grocery and pick our next meal. We don’t have to scavenge for food, it’s all there just waiting. Hi Curt, as a Papua New Guinean from the Highlands, I really enjoyed watching your video. I believe you've really touched the hearts of many people in Papua New Guinea, especially the people of Hela. I just love the part where you said "people can come to Papua New Guinea, don't believe all the lies from Social Media." Papua New Guinea is a really good place, the people are friendly and respectful. You're fearless and you're going beyond what someone from a civilized country could do. Most times white people come to our country but they don't often do stuff like that, going around with young boys in the streets of Port Moresby, eating fast foods from the street markets, chewing our betelnut with lime, drinking the country's number one beer (SP), drinking our energy drink (Bu) up in the Highlands, traveling our cold mountainous and bumpy roads and you broke the hearts of many Hela people by killing the pig and enjoyed the mumu with them. I just love how you enjoyed yourself here in PNG and showcasing our culture, our people and our lifestyles to the world. Thankyou Curt for your courage and bravery, you are a real hero. Felt like he went back to his roots on this one.. the flashy Dubai bs was to satisfy his ego IMO, but he’s still young and when you get a huge increase in money you’ve never had, you can’t really blame him for the flashy Dubai super car hot girl stuff. After going to so many countries of poverty full of ghettos, he definitely needed and earned that trip though.

but Dubai is in the east? It's not about west or east. I live in the west and this type of village life is how I grew up. It's about developed vs non-developed. And trust me you would think is great and all until a family member is dieing from some curable disease and you can't get access to the kind of treatment that is available only in developed countries. Besides you can still get this type of life even in developed countries. There's a lot of countryside in the US etc

The PNG serie is def My fav of this channel. I'm very aware of the violence in this country and how risky is for locals and foreigners to move around but I'm amazed about how friendly and polite people is. They all greet properly and seem interested in the exchange of meeting a Foreigner, that's awesome.
