Again, thanks for sharing. My family is from Acapulco and a lot has changed over the last 20 years. It used to be a very safe beach town with tons of an incredible culture. However, the violence in the city has completely changed Acapulco. Tourists stayed away and that forced many businesses to close. My family is from the old town, and it's super local where everyone knows everyone. Most tourists stay far away from there, but I love it. If you ever go back, you'd probably enjoy it too.

Good friend of mine lost two family members in Acapulco after they reported being extorted by a local cartel to the police. Police were blamed for their deaths. Somethings in life aren't always worth doing just because you can. I strongly recommend you don't create content anywhere in Mexico that the cartels may take or find as offensive as they are VERY ACTIVE on social media and the like.

Dude I love your videos and it's great to see how much care you take with how you treat and talk to the locals in all these places you go. But you got to be more careful or one day you're just gonna disappear. This and the Medellín video are nuts, like there's times where you seem to not really appreciate how much danger you're in. I get your whole vibe is you want to show these places most KZbinrs can't and don't show us, but when locals are telling you no, put away your camera, this area is very dangerous, people will rob you and kill you....there's only so many times you can tempt fate and get lucky.
