It can actually be a lot of fun despite the gross dudes. 😅 just be safe, don’t drink too much, bring some pepper spray with you (or like I used to do a bottle of cotton candy perfume to spray in the eyes of creepazoids 🤣🤣), make sure you always have a way home that you trust, and be prepared for the longest ladies bathroom lines you’ve ever seen so you end up using the men’s restroom. 🤣🤣 Plus it’s like girl code that when you’re at the club if a dude (or lady cause that happens too) starts dancing up on you from behind your friend gives you a look that says “you like him? do you think he’s cute?” And if you shake your head no she she’s supposed to pull you away and be like “this is my girlfriend back off!” I actually always preferred to go to gay clubs, I’m bisexual but nobody was ever unwelcome as long as they’re being respectful, because of how much fun I always had there especially at drag shows so I definitely recommend!

I wish we had gay clubs where I'm from, pretty sure the closest one is a few cities away :( I'll always remember how one time we had a friend over all the way from France (I'm from Finland) and the night we go out she has to deal with a man petting her like she's a fucking dog and then getting offended bc we weren't having any of his shit. He kept following us but thank god we know one of the bouncers so we just pointed at the creep and he got kicked out. I don't mind if someone comes up to me and when I ask them to leave they actually respect me and leave, but when they keep going at it even after being pushed away (I have a thing I call "the elbow tactic" which literally means I... lightly... elbow people below their ribs. I only do this if they're particularly pushy/creepy/just EW) OR EVEN FOLLOW YOU AROUND THE CLUB - that's when I get freaked out. I'm a really small girl (barely 5 feet tall) so when a 6'4'' guy keeps pushing on you and there's two of you trying to get him off, just oof. Again, very lucky to know one of the bouncers so the worst ones get kicked out and banned for the night. (English isn't my native tongue so I apologize for any possible mistakes).

Maria K i’ve had things like that happen before as well 😅 I live in the United States and I spent a lot of time living in Daytona Beach Florida which you figure would have lots of gay clubs but it only had one that ended up getting closed down and then they opened up a gay friendly restaurant but that also got closed down so there’s really nothing in the town as far as gay nightlife. But the closest gay bars to Daytona are in Orlando Florida which is where Disney World is. It wasn’t so bad in Orlando, some crazy stuff happened there but Daytona beach is a hell hole lol One time when my mom was taking the bus a random homeless man walked up to her sniffed her and then licked her and said “you taste good“ and of course my crazy mother’s response was to lick her own hand and say “oh my gosh you’re right!” 😂😂 and I know how it is being short because I’m a quarter of an inch away from 5‘5“ and I never let that stop me if someone’s bothering me and I’ve had a couple of drinks I am not afraid to stare them right the eyes and tell them to back off, i used to get into arguments with grown men that were 6‘5“ and covered in tattoos fresh out of prison. I was reckless when I was young but I never let dudes do that inappropriate crap in the club to me after I had some incidents with guys a few times because I had finally had enough and I said I would never let it happen again. I’ve been told by guys that I’ve dated that I can be incredibly intimidating even my fiancé says that now and like I’m this little skinny thing so I don’t know how but it works in my favor 🤣🤣

@@avalonfey I agree, but I will mention, the biggest issue with "should shaving products be free?" is that shaving is optional. Like, sure, it helps with hygiene if you're not like taking care of facial hair properly, but I did not choose to start bleeding from orifices, let alone ones that can get infected easily, or ones that are often covered by materials that get soaked in blood if I don't have sanitary supplies. If anything, like, all sanitary basic stuff, toilet paper, menstruation products, etc., like, those are necessities. Unlike food where it is necessary but you have a lot of choices ranging in quality and difficulty to produce, like, for the most part, sanitary stuff like that is made of the same stuff and only ranges in prices for the brand names or silly flower designs that they think are important. Also, as a heads up, I just say that to clarify, I do completely agree, especially as a trans guy myself. I love it when companies condone usage by all genders, therefore taking the gender quality away from the object. It's just razors, they might make some better for leg/arm hair, they might make some better for facial hair, but hey, it's not women's razors or men's razors, it's just leg hair razors lmao. (So many women's razors are pink and I like shaving my legs, it's not like a huge huge issue for me personally, but I would be so ecstatic if a company did more unisex razors like that.)
