What in the heck were they learning by going to church? And they were practicing spirituality but no one had their compassionate or concern antenna up. Just WOW! It seems to me that Ms. Gibb had a moral responsibility to stop this train wreck but everything was ok until they said JJ was at her home. This couldn't be more true. A ex mormon on reddit made this fantastic post explaining that "extremely mormonism" is a real problem for the church. The issue is that they have members who start digging up old mormon doctrines and teachings that are so wild and out there that they don't teach them anymore but at the same time do not denounce them because they have to stick to their claim that the prophet during that time, has a direct line to God, can't do wrong and that their religion is the only one, true religion. So denouncing this doctrine would be admitting the prophet got it wrong and he doesn't have a direct line to God. The church is constantly changing what's right and what's wrong to conform to the law or to open their doors to more people, making the last prophet wrong and undermining the entire point of their existence, that they are the one, true church. I told him when he first married my daughter that I had prayed for my daughter to meet a Christian man. She informed me that Jehovah doesn’t listen to women’s prayers. She deserves death, but you might get a juror who mucks up the whole thing, simply because they are against the death penalty. It could even have the disastrous effect of an acquittal. The lack of cameras is out of respect for Tylee and JJ I imagine. There are many gruesome photos of them that must be shown to the jury.
