for anyone wondering about the warranty on nama 2, it does have 15 year warranty on all parts. He does mention it on one of his other videos. it is also on their website. In the bottom of the page, under warranty, it says 15 years on the motor, but if you click on "more," then it gives the full warranty info. However, the instruction manual still says 2 years on non-motor but this could just be an older manual. I am returning my Kuvings Revo830 b/c of the time it takes to clean. Also requires some strength to remove the top part, hence the wrench. I don't think I'll ever use the sorbet strainer. The convenience of being able to flip open the bottom of the pulp extractor chute is a game changer. So much easier to clean.

Unless you only plan to juice apples and carrots, definitely DON'T buy a juicer based solely on its performance juicing apples and carrots. If you plan to juice vegetables, you really need to see how a juicer performs with produce like broccoli, spinach, and kale. We had a masticating juicer and a Aicook centrifugal juicer like this one kzbin.infoUgkxXHNfxr6U9XrHQpsdjUrKNVP231BfS9q9 Both of them made about the same amount of juice.The Aikcook one died in 3 weeks haha. China brand. LolSo we bought this one since at least we knew the brand name and it was about the same price.Imagine our surprise when we make two 16 oz cups of celery juice and have leftover celery. We juiced it and made almost another cup! Same thing happened with our cucumber juice. So it's about 20 - 30 % more juice than our other two juicers including the masticating cold press one!The motor is so much stronger on this one than the Aikcook. It sucks in the vegetables and spits them out like it's angry.I've only had it a few days so don't know how long it will last but all the plastics and interior is much stronger and better made than the other two we had. If it breaks, I can buy a new one with the savings in vegetable bill. Haha.This literally is going to save me about 60- 80 bucks a month because of the juice output. No one likes to waste food.Update! It broke in 8 days. Motor started freaking out. I'm going to get another of them and try my luck because I really really want this one to be the one.

Thank you for your videos! I just bought the Nama J2 directly from Nama after watching your earlier videos on the J2. I will probably return it unopened after watching this review. I currently have both the Kuvings B6000 and C7000. As an aside, I disagree that the C7000 is superior. The C7000 doesn't pull produce in as well as the B6000 and pulp gathers in the top of the C7000 more. The Nama J2 took 2 minutes longer and you still had to prep, break, cut up, and feed produce into the Nama J2. I'm not getting why it's your favorite juicer.

Hey John. Do you know that Hurom uses 'made in China' motor in it ? Actually Hurom is a 'made in Korea' brand, but the main part for their slow juicer, motor comes from China. I've got to know that recently and feel a bit cheated because their price is so high.

Hey John.... Nama recently put out a strainer to strain the pulp it sits right on top of the juice collector. I picked this up and for me its worth it. Heads up this is not a fine mesh strainer. These holes are larger but once again it serves it purpose.

expecting quick or fast juicing in a slow juicer is kind of an oxymoron. but both of these guys look like they do a fabulous job if you're looking to do "non-attended juicing", we don't have to do the cutting and mincing and you get a good juice from it. if I were still involved in the worker day world and scheduling I guess this might be an option for my personal lifestyle. all that said I haven't experienced any juice from any juicer that compares with a dynapro vacuum juicing technology. off the charts flavor, zero pulp and maximum nutrition. there's some effort involved in the process that some people regard as work, for me it's become part of my morning Zen. that said if time is not your issue and you want the ultimate juice, I picked up a dynapro and the most important component beyond the dynapro are the Alexa juice bags. second to none kids. if you're looking for the ultimate ultimate ultimate juice and nutritional experience check out John's vacuum juicing videos. looks a little messy at first, but I got over it very quickly and can't imagine making or drinking juice with anything else at this point. that said, both of these uses are light years ahead of the game when compared to the centrifugal juicer that I started with years ago. so choose your weapon boys and girls but do yourself a favor buy from this guy. is customer service is very good and he knows more about these devices and quite possibly more about nutritional juicing than anyone else on the internet that I've seen or listen to. this guy actually walks the walk. not another juicer retailers online cuz I've not dealt with any of them but the videos imply to me that it's strictly business. with this guy it's a lifestyle then the business.

You should try the commercial kuvings cs600. Blazing fast and it processes so fast sometimes its hard to keep up feeding it. If you are cutting while feeding it will process faster than I can cut, no joke. It's the only juicer that beat Jon's old fav the omega vsj in yield and speed.

@@naughtyorgneiss not a chance. vacuum juicing is a great fit for me. it's cool that there is so much variety out there and choosing a juicer these days people can find something that pretty much it's all their needs.

Mr. Kohler, your videos continue to be valuable. I really get the appeal of the vertical slow machines, but are you still recommending the horizontals, such as the Solostar 4 and 900HDC if someone is juicing 70% or more leafy greens? Thank you!
@discountjuicers2 жыл бұрын
I would still recommend a horizontal auger for people juicing large amounts of leafy greens, as verticals can still clog, and will aerate the juice more than a horizonal. My favorite horizontal juicer is the Sana 727, which is great for juicing mostly greens or even all greens. Vertical juicers can clog when juicing greens, as well as not juice them as well since they tend not to grind as well, plus they aerate the juice more.

@@Hiltie1 Why do you need to add water to leafy green juice?

I have a Nama J2 & am in the process of returning it. I juice a lot of greens & it doesn't perform well with some smaller greens such as cilantro which I use a lot. Carrots & apples & beets did well but I'll drink more green juice than anything so it won't work for me unfortunately.

Dear John, I am from India. I like the Nama J2 but they don't sell their products directly in India. I have to import from th USA, so due the import duties and taxes, the price has increased to double ($1020) compare with the US price. But, the Kuvings company has India market also, they are selling the REVO model with the same price($550). So can I go with the REVO830 or can I wait for their new model Kuvings AUTO 10. Is the new model worth to wait? Pls let me know, thank you.

I bought the 820 first...before I knew about the Nama 2. I waited a year and then finally purchased the Nama 2. I love carrot juice and I guess I'll start using the Nama for it. I've been using a centrifugal juicer for carrots. I've been making green juice with the Nama 2 that includes apples...so it works just fine. Thinking of selling the EVO 820, but perhaps I'll just keep both. Trying to use it more.

I can’t buy direct from you John because I am in Canada. I am thinking of getting the Nama J2 as my Vertical Omega is getting old. Would you say that old Omega (8+ years) are still good or has technology made great improvements that justifies changing my juicer? 🙂 Thx Love watching your videos for long time!
@discountjuicers2 жыл бұрын
Depends on which model Omega vertical you have. Nama Will ship to Canada and you can buy at www.namawell.com and use coupon code DJ10 to save 10% off your purchase. That being said, if you have money burning a hole in your pocket, and you want an easier time juicing, the Nama J2 will get a little more yield, clog less, and be easier to use. It shoiuld also put less pulp in the juice than the original VRT models. That being said, if money is tight, stick with what you got. Juice quality will be similiar, but overall the user experience on the J2 is much improved. If you dont juice because you don't like the process of precutting and feeding things into your juice, then the J2 might be a good investment if you will juice more because its easier, and will in the end benefit you more.
