One of the most underappreciated parts of California and I'm glad for that..

Rob can you please shed light to the public, on the delta levi pumps that draw water from the delta and feed it to the agriculture on the other side and their dangers they pose when they turn on. They pull from the delta and create a vacuum. A friend of ours was under water when one of those turned on , it drew him to the intake under water till the pumps turned off . Thank you sir

The majority of the Chinese that were brought to california in the late 1900's to build the levees, were from the pearl river delta region in china where they have been building and maintaining levees for thousands of years.

I miss living near the delta. Every weekend I had my boat in the water. Now it is a 3 hour trip from where I live. Soon I may never boat there again as I maybe leaving California for better quality of life. I do miss those days on the delta though.

Elaborate on the better quality of life part. Are you referring to less taxes and more conservative values wherever you're moving to?

catch and release fish is the bigest kind of bull shit that there is if your going fishing to eat them that ok catch and release it to hart the fish you put a hook in it then just look at them you put back in the water with a hole in it mouth has got to hert like hell not what it must have felt like to hooked and pulled from the water where it cant breathas it can,t breat air like that ad then to have a finger stuck in you mouth and then be put with an injury in it mouth just harting from that and till it heals it has to hard for the fish to eat i,ll put it this way how would it feel if you were hanging out in your living room and you got up to eat then all at once a big hook grabed in you mouth and at once you were pulled out trough you roof a big hand grabes in the mouth and pull out the hook and it ripes your mouth all up and that this time you can,t breath and after some time has gone by they just trough you back onin your living and now you can,t eat very well as your mouth is hewrting like hell you would like it would you but thats just what you did to that fish i grew up in a family of hunters and fishers and when i learned to do so my dad talk me to never hunt or fish something inless you plan to eat it so i think to catch and release is just bull shit only a true ass hole would do a thing like that

Salmon and Sturgeon are now closed and probably will never get them open again. Striper and catfish are about all we have left to fish for now. I know this is an older video now.

Shame on you! My grandfather would be shocked if he heard you call a ship or boat an "it"! How dare you!
