This interviewer was the most respectful dude I’ve seen in a while. He did his homework, he seemed genuinely interested in Kwame’s career, asked great questions, and didn’t try to clown him. Some of these new reporters would have only talked about his shortcomings, Michael Jordan, or his notorious trade from the Lakers that landed them Pau, and all the bad things that’s happened in his career. This guy is asking about his family, and his future, his style of play, like wow that’s rare.

Jordan brought Charles Oakley in not to bully it scare him but to make him tough in a league that featured Shaq kg Zach Randolph chris Webber jermaine o'neal Amar'e Stoudamire Karl Malone and other big men who played like men. When he was a child he had certain mannerisms as we all have had, but when he became a man he put away such things like toys all over the floor and hit ppl up with Mama's Cook'n. I think it was better that he wait'd to open up behind what happened. Bcuz we all know too well that when food is good the 1st day, it always tastes better when the seasoning settles in and marinates the dish even more and when heated up, is bang'n. Kwame, you may never see this, but brother, I ask you to forgive me. While I never gave into the taunts and teasing created by FAR too many in the media, it did persuade me to evade your person as a whole and not just a #1 pick. Thank you so much for sprinkling some of Momma's Cookin', because I see how bland my palette has been for the unnecessary foolishness of others. Before, I may have looked beyond this interview because I would have ASSUMED I already knew YOUR story due to the opinions of others. I was wrong, so please pardon my ignorance. You still look the same as you did when you were drafted, so without hearing from you, it is easy to escape the change from a young boy to the young, talented man you have been ALL this time. You took nonsense for 20 years, and if it takes you another 20 to release and unleash; if you are the ONLY person who 'gets' it, let them blow as you let it go. No one complained while others narrated 'your' story, but now that your voice is CLEARLY being heard, thanks for publishing a video diary in your voice that gets better every time we listen.

Hear that people, in his 10th year he got a contract because he could play low-post defense and improving the team's rebounding. Tell me a bust who can play low post defense? Btw, Jim Barnett the interviewer was respectful, no mamma's seasoning for him.

Man, from watching him say all the right things going to a new team and handling professionally the questions about being a former #1 overall pick, you would have never thought Kwame had it in him to finally lash out at his critics the way he has, which he has every right to do to defend himself, although he could have handled it better, IMO (for example, him making it about race when it's not).

Of course when a black man living in a white supremacist world speaks on the horrible Eurocentric oppression that we have and continue to face for the past 500 years, 'it's a race thing' . Please have a seat and stop pointificating about a community that you absolutely know nothing about.
