Learnt something today, on how to preserve yam with salt (oxidized) to prevent discoloration. Was actaully thinking about how to preserve yams , was going to google it, but didn't get round to doing that before i came across your channel today. Good job and GOD bless.

I tired this salt thing and it worked like magic. I didn't sprinkle it though, I out the salt in the water that I used to wash the yam. Awesome. Thanks for that lesson

You can also steal the Yaw and it tests deloius. Also i tend freeze my yaws all together and most they separate when you really to cook them

I have never made yams before. my hubby is from ghana and I'm sure he would love it. I will have to try it! I have mastered a few ghanaian dishes but yam I have yet to explore!

If cooking your yam OR GREEN BANANA straight away add a whole lemon', depending on the quantity, or half TO PREVENT DISCOLOURATION.
